you got the right attitude given how people are these days. I just play dumb and say there was no towel. By now if folks do not know to leave at least a book or shoes or something more than a towel, well they off it goes after I watch just a bit

oh my that could be interesting and perhaps some good photos from a distance. I can't wait to see Iceland next year and my cruise starts in Reykjavik and end up in UK by way of Norway and Amsterdam.

yup for me I am on the 29th and glad to be going to Sitka. Now I can look for that State Park near town and do that walk. Also glad to be going to Ketchikan again as well as Juneau. One has to book a non RCI/X ship to get into Glacier Bay. Not sure when they will get to go again since they were banned over 10 years ago.

oh it will drag out for weeks on end you watch. But I do suppose some of it is timing of the supplies. at least the cruise is not cancelled

and then once published it gets changed twice and cancelled. I had a great 7 days cruise on Voyager doing just Oslo and another port as well as two places in Denmark. Was unique but then first ship switch and then ship cancel. Why can't they do more cruises to the nice ports in Demark and also Visby Sweden. oh well

yes I agree. I know they sent the Indy to UK for a few years and folks got tired of it too. They should send an Oasis class up to uk.

yes a very large pool in the middle of island was very nice. I guess you just go off the ship and made a left and did that area. Next time go around the rest of the island as it is much better IMHO.

NOPE I ate there mid July on Breakaway and not only is it very expensive but my steak was very tough and it was medium. Glad it was my free promo because the meal was not worth $90. But I find the desserts in the Buffet area each day so much tastier than any RCI ships.

I agree with you on a lot except the Quantum class as I like the large glass Two 70 area to look out. I hate the Edge class ORANGE elevator, and I hate the bungie yellow balls on the back of some RCI ships. And as for EPIC, I went on her in 2011 and we all said she looked like Donald Duck in the front. And YES the short stupid bow is very odd. I like the Disney and HAL ships for their nice dark blue tradition hull and bow. Love Oasis except for the ugly pink slide with the set of Jaws at the top where you enter the slide.

I also hate this as well. And I hate how the crew is chatty and gathers in the buffet area near folks trying to read and eat. And do not get me started on the silly washy and begging for handwashing with a silly song or balloon. I swear the loud music in all venues is to keep the crew happy more than the passengers.

The Bliss is also very nice build like Encore with large observation in the front of ship. I can see the advantage of doing the sun as it is a smaller ship. April will still have a lot of snow in the mountains and so while chilly, it will be pretty.

i can honestly say I have never had an issue with cruise planner. perhaps if you try clearing out all history and cookies maybe that will be the magic.

I think they should load the train up in town at the station. We did that in 2010 and 2012. Also the train can be boarded just before it gets into town which is on a different track that goes over by the dock. It worrisome about unstable rocks and both docking areas. Hope it gets resolved or the port will become like the Caymans and everyone has to tender in.

yes JJ Cruise on YOU Tube had a bad experience. and others too.

now to get back to your question. Are you flying in or are your driving. If driving, just part at the port as they guarantee parking and I think it is 20-25 dollars a day but secure. If you are flying in, then take a cab or uber to the ship from a hotel if you fly the day before, or take the shuttle sold by the cruiseline.

I think they need to add words for Alaska and New England cruises that specifically TELLS about ArriveCan. I mean standard language after a while is skipped over. I think people feel responsibility is ab out stuff related to vaccine and tests. Only some cruises need additional information like Canada and Bermuda and so I feel they should make an effort to highlight it as I feel there could be anxious moments at the pier. Afterall, it does effect the cruiselines for boarding for these cruises.
