yes they did. And on cruise ships if in loud venues and trying to talk, one can develop a cough from over talking. and or air conditioning.

and this is why I think the package makes no sense. Any ship photography should go against the plan. these speciality photographers are annoying and I shoo them away. they should ask upon checkin at the restaurant if you have the package and want a photo. Otherwise leave folks alone to eat.

nope non of the Quantum do this unless it is paid for and it is either at sea or in glaciers. And since the startup, some of the ships only release on a daily basis the free rides. It is so messed up right now IMHO that it makes for some stress.

HI all oh yes I too love Copenhagen and went in a day before my cruise. I did a 7 hour walk around town and then went to Tivoli Gardens in the evening for photos. I will share some below of the Gardens

I think if no other smaller ship is in port, it could dock in town and folks could walk off.

yea and now we can add the Baltics to that list. Should be interesting to see if cruises go to Russia even in 2024. I still think more interesting port in Denmark should be done.

wow 2014 was an interesting year for RCI and dining. I like the Dynamic dining on Anthem and was glad to have a chance to experience 4 different restaurants with 4 different menus. Too bad folks had to complain and same thing with Northstar now not going over the sides except for special pay. I hate complainers who ruin things for the rest of us.

i guess the short bow makes me wonder if the ship bounces more instead of gliding in waves. I just hope the ugly orange sliding lounge is not on the Icon. OMG so ugly and so orange.

chilly is GOOD as you won't get over heated and makes for enjoyable walking with a nice jacket. That is why I love the northern routes like Norway, UK, Alaska and NE. looking forward to your photos. I won't get to Greenland any time soon but will do Iceland (god willing next year)

aw MSC does white night like Carnival also does. And yes Europeans from Italy and Spain do like to dress up a bit more. Fun to watch

yes I agree which is why I am concerned about the WISH and two out of three rotating restaurants have a show. I hear the Frozen is the best and the food as well. It is an original show and not a quickie frozen type. And I just hate how rude folks are in the theatres too. I think the kids on DCL are better behaved than on other cruise lines. It has to do with the kids programs and perhaps the parental upbringing as well.

Well if 694 passengers is too many for them, then no hope for many other ships, I did Venice as part of a tour and stayed in hotel for 2 nights. Walked all around the city. So glad I did. Venice will continue to have water issues and sewage too. I have decided to cruise to La Spezia to see the Cinque Terre area. toodles

aw sorry to hear this. yes horns are needed but can harm the delicate ears of the whales and humans. hope weather is great in Greenland. Loo forward to your photos. BTW JJ Cruise You Tubers are on board so look for them. They are two nice married guys who are friendly and provide lots of good videos and stories.

aw yes that is nice. DCL does a lot of things well IMHO.

look up Chris Wong on Youtube as he did one on this a few days ago. It is a good idea so that the ship and passengers can support the town. They use the back dock and take folks via tenders. At least it saves a long walk and gets one closer to the port

i am well aware but you asked for my opinion. Me thinks any cruiseline that makes changes will cause a fuss. Like HAL making narrow outdoor promenades on their Koningsdam class or Princess putting more rooms up the back and sides of ship. And then NCL removing a lot of spaces in the stern of ship with go kart and laser tag. Hard to please everyone but for me balconys can be a negative if raining and or folks slamming their doors. With the Infinity I can walk up and still look out.

have you tried different times of the day. Like first thing or perhaps later. Calling customer service is a bit better than just reservations. BTW what is your question perhaps one of us knows????

I like sound of them. Get the view and yet protected from wind and rain. And more room too. They are neat idea, just hate the bow of the ship. Ugly as ........ t

always something to look forward to. But do try the Wonder of the Seas or Odyssey OTS as they are new as well
