very relaxed dress code for lunch and also for the most part dinner.
I have seen flip flops, shorts, tee shirts. Also more folks bringing noisy kids to these speciality restaurants so they are not so quiet as one would think
i never encountered anyone like that. But I have seen older folks on HAL feel like they were special since they cruised a lot. I try to ignore folks on cruises these days and just enjoy the water and food and shows.
oh okay, gee and I thought it was a model of the ship. thanks for replying. It must be fun to be near the shipyard over there. Guessing secrecy is a big issue too.
well they say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. hmmmm I would pass on this if it was put in front of me. Would rather have a nice rice pudding with cinnamon on top.
aw they also had a two day flight and would have missed out both.
check out their video about nightmare getting to ship - JJ Cruise. wow.
toodles. looks like you have sea days before greenland. I can't wait to see what you think?
agree and let us not forget that norovirus or food poisoning can be even worse on a ship.
I will however still wear a mask in crowded rooms and elevators just because I can.
I agree and when sailing up north where the daylight goes to midnight, having an inside room to sleep in can be great.
And having an inside room allows for more money to explore. I try to sail various ways depanding on the route or ports
they are really great fun to watch and the drama they had getting to NJ and ship is well OMG.
Had to fly to Phila not Newark and then train to NYC and then taxi to port.
Earlier this year flights cancelled to FL and they drove 19 hours to catch their Odyssey of the Seas.
These guys are a nice married couple very up beat and fun to listen to. They love Celebrity and did B2B on Edge, Apex. toodles hope you get to meet them.
these two photos sum up St Johns Newfoundland in what is special to visit.
thanks for sharing. Aw I see you have responded so I will go look at it.
I hope you have a great time in Iceland.
I am doing it next year on NCL Prima and it starts in Reykjavik
oh you are two weeks ahead of me and withing 72 hours so I shall expect the same on the 26th.
BTW have any of your shorex been affected? I had a time change in Juneau and they have not moved my shorex back a few hours. such a mess with engine issues but I do not mind missing the glaciers as I am more interested in Stika and Ketchikan. Glad I am not going to Skagway
toodles
first the CDC relaxes and then the cruise lines.
But in the end, it is the various ports that have the last say like Canada and Bermuda for instance.
Very confusing for folks who get excited and forget to read the fine print.
I am glad I saw and walked Venice back in the 1990's. One of the cruises that I lost in 2020 was a smaller ship leaving from Venice (Vision of the Seas). I was sad about this.
However, forward two years I think the city is right is limiting the size of ships.
And I also think the city has gotten much dirtier and bad smelling at times since I was last there.
I will keep my memories and never go back.
wonder if they plan to swap out M Gras with Celebration in the future and send M Gras to Miami?
Also wonder if the Celebration will have a few things different than M Gras?
yes I think it is linked to passport.
I will finish when the time comes on the app but go into on line to see if I can print out.
I do not use any email on my iphone for security purposes. to me a text rather than email should be an option if we must use apps.
