  1. Mine updated overnight. Yesterday it told me Check in was open, today it tells me I cam view our Express Pass and I can also edit check in.
  2. There is no Elite Lounge on Celebrity ships.
  3. The Happy Hour event probably hasn’t been in the Sky Lounge for at least 3 years. We had started going to the Ensemble Lounge well before COVID. We went last year to the Sky Lounge and it was soooo quiet. I think the Martini Bar has taken over in popularity. Not all bars had the Captain’s Club menu however, but the Captain’s Club host told us that there are some Premium drinks served between 5-7 pm.
  4. Many thanks. I will make sure we have our vaccine cards as well as the PDF’s.
  5. Lucky those of you who have gained 5 points for booking shore excursions. We were never sent the email in the Uk and even though I sent an email to UK Captain’s Club, expressing my disappointment that we are treated unequally, i e had no reply.🙈
  6. Due to do our check in tomorrow. Today I have taken screenshots of PDF from my NHS app showing dates of vaccinations. I have x2 initial Pfizer jabs and 2 Booster, which I will need, to be considered “Up to Date.” Will it allow me to update all 4?
  7. Hi cachyouonacruise, I’m due to check in tomorrow for our cruise on Silhouette for 30/07/22. I’ve printed the PDF of our vaccine records and have screen shots. As we are over 75 (UK)we have records of 4 each- x2 initial vaccines and x2 boosters. How many do I need to upload? Is it just the first 2? Or can I also upload one or 2 of our boosters to prove we are: ‘Up to date’? Many thanks,
  8. Not been on an Edge class ship, but were on Deck 9 on Infinity. We felt a great deal of movement when crossing the Atlantic in October 2013. We were told it was far worse in the bow, so be happy that you are in the stern, as the engines are at the back of the ship.
  9. I know that, but the cruise ships are insisting it is. The following is taken from Celebrity Health & Safety at Sea protocols, which were updated on 10 th June. “For itineraries that end in Spain, pre-arrival test must be taken within 1 day of sailing regardless of homeport.”
  10. He didn’t, he flew in from LHR. My point is, it is no longer a requirement of Spain, it’s the cruise ships who are continuing to insist on pre boarding testing.
  11. I am from UK and hopefully will be checking in for our cruise tomorrow. I preparation, I have today sent for my COVID vaccine record via email and was sent an email which contained our names and a QR code ( downloading the PDF didn’t generate records with either the QR code or our names ). In all there are 4 records for each of us, as we have both had both boosters. Can anyone tell me how many of these I need to upload to prove we are ‘Up to Date.’
  12. My son was recently in Seville on Buisness. He told that he did NOT require a test to get into Spain.
  13. Many thanks for the Guernsey photos. We last went in September 2016, as we had been warned in the past that even tenders have difficulty getting in, due to winds. You were very fortunate.
  14. No problem for me, either yesterday or today.
  15. The only time a Captain has made an announcement, other than the usual daily 10am, was when we couldn’t get into St Petersburg, due to high winds. We have sailed Royal x 2 (Itinerary)and CelebrityCruises x10.
  16. How does the 90 free minutes (250 for Elite +) work, if you have free AI Wi-Fi?
  17. Just wondering if its because most passengers are booking AI, that Free internet minutes are not applied?
  18. When I have cancelled excursions, the refunds have taken 7-10 working days.
  19. The shuttle bus in Tallin is only steps away from the ship.
  20. You can certainly order jacket potatoes. I do regularly, as I am dairy Intolerant.
  21. The App is of no use to me as it doesn’t display the dietary symbols. I always ask for a paper menu, which does. Typically, menus are on a 14 night rotation. We were once on a 15 day cruise and reverted to day 1 on the last night. This was explained to us at dinner, with an apology.
  22. We have been offered OBC. I took screen shots of a revised cabin price and sent them to our TA who sent them to Celebrity. It took 5 days for them to answer, but as we have already paid, we were given OBC. “Best Offer Guarantee. If the fare on your sailing is reduced or the promotion gets better, give us a call and we’ll honor your choice right up to 48 hours before you sail. This applies to bookings made before March 31, 2022 for sailings up to September 30, 2022. You may change your offer as many times as desired up to 48 hours before sailing. For bookings within final payment, any amounts owed will be refunded in theform of nonrefundable Onboard Credit. For bookings outside of final payment, any amounts owed will be refunded to theoriginal form of cruise fare payment. Bookings made after March 31, 2022, will be covered with our existing Best Price Guarantee policy. Bookings made by UK & Ireland guests after March 31, 2022 will be covered by the existing Price Promise policy.”
  23. I had only read the first page, I stupidly didn’t realise there were many pages (post#4914)
