  1. Good information here and a portal to book. For a group of 5 it may be relatively affordable. For timing I would think that 60 minutes would be a good estimate of getting you luggage, immigration and customs (red land / green lanes) Another option is to consider the Airport Transfer bus that take you to the Bus Station at the Train Station. They run every 20 minutes and run 8 Euros. Transit time on the non-stop bus in about 20 minutes.
  2. No. Blu is never open for Lunch - Except sometimes for a Special Lunch (not for Blu passengers)
  3. The packages can be a good deal if your interested in trying all of the restaurants. Personally I would probably reserve online to secure a date and time you wish. The specialties are usually discounted per-cruise. You can always cancel or move reservation to a different night and time. Generally you can order anything on the menu with the exception of some specialty items which are noted with the additional cost. Example - Murano has a special Five Senses menu with wine paring - that is $89 pp additional. Also Tuscan have some Prime beef adders - 16 ounce Dry Aged NY Steak $15 and 22 Oz Porterhouse $18. If you download the Celebrity App and go to the Restaurant Menus you will see the menus and any add on. Wine and Drinks are per you package or separate charge if no package.
  4. Good luck. At least if still pending you are still in the running? Have you checked at how many rooms are available? All mind still say pending but no availability of room currently.
  5. There is both Priority Luggage for all suites and "Special Delivery Desk" for the upper suites. Both are near the Suites entrance and sometimes the police in FLL don't let the drivers enter the area. I find it easiest to just give my bags to the first porter I see.
  6. It always excites me to see pictures of the ship on the webcam. She is beautiful. Always gets my excitement going when I see you pictures of the inside of the ship.
  7. I did the Bering Straight Japan TP crossing in 2018. Weather was Cold and Windy for most of the cruise but did have some sunny days. As we approached Japan the weather turned warmer but still lots of rain. We were on a B2B with the Japan Immersion cruise. On turn around day there was a fast approaching Typhoon and B2B passengers were evacuated from the ship and passengers joining the cruise were advised to find a hotel. On the next cruise we were skirting another typhoon and had to shift all ports by 1 day and missed Hiroshima for all 3 scheduled stops
  8. If on Medicare I believe you can also go to many drug stores and they will give you up to 4 for free. I was in getting a Flu shot a while back at Rite-Aid and they asked me if I wanted some. I said Sure.
  9. LOL - As many times as I use it I often forget you have to go all the way to the payment window.
  10. You don't need an invite. Even as a Zenith I only get an invite about 15% of the time. They usually open about 21-60 days prior to cruise. Just go to link below and put in Reservation # and Last Name. If you booked with Big Box Store they do not participate Celebrity MoveUp – Upgrade Offer | Celebrity Cruises
  11. Try this link - https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/stateroom-details.php?ship=Celebrity-Silhouette&cabin=3103
  12. I usually find you have to go all the way to the page where you enter credit card payment before hitting the Logo to get it to offer a hold. I have noticed that if after final payment date they do not offer the Hold
  13. Not sure what's going on. We have done the photo package before and always priced about $129 For April 15th - This is what's in cruise Planner. NO THANKS For the April 22nd and May 15 cruises it's not even available. They only offer Private Studio Session.
  14. My experience is that the FCC that is issued for the cancellation of a cruise is broken down and issued proportionally to each of the passengers individually.
  15. With due respect that is not correct. The Casino is owned and run by Celebrity. Dealers and Staff are hired by an outside staffing agency. I was also of the opinion it was outsourced but asked the Casino Manager on the last cruise.
  16. It is a Celebrity Requirement. For some sailing it is also a country requirement e.g. Australia, New Zealand and Tahiti
  17. Looking forward to following along. Have a wonderful cruise
  18. Good to hear. Makes sense if they have cabins available after the upgrades.
  19. I have changed rooms on a Suite Guarantee assignment. There has to be a same class available e.g. SS2 to a SS2. Also as you get closer you often will see the S1 drop in price close to a SS2 and you can also upgrade and pay the difference.
  20. I don't know about the Pairing Menue at Murano's but believe it would not be included. I know from experience that the suite benefit don't include the Chef's Table or the Veuve Clicquot Dinners.
  21. In that case you might want to schedule your driver later to get to hotel closer to checkin time. Most hotel's will however store you luggage until you room is available.
  22. The stateroom attendant usually tapes the cord to the floor to reduce any trip hazard.
  23. Suites have both a room attendant and a butler. The butler takes care of the surfaces (Water, breakfast, ice etc) and the Room attendant takes care of the room and bathroom. The number of butlers vary by ship but normally their are between 4 - 8 per ship. One recent cruise on Summit they had a shortage with butlers caused by ending contracts and they got down to 2 for the entire ship. They continued to provide excellent service but were really working hard. Gratuity - I generally tip in the range of $5-10 per day dependent on service level.
  24. It still depends on the ship. I have been on both revolutionized M-Class and revolutionized. Solstice no plug near the bed - but there is a 220 plug for the Lamps. Summit (Revolutionized) at least in a Sky Suit they had a 110 beneath each end table next to bed in addition to the 220. You can either call and request an extension cord or just ask your room attendant and he will get one for you.
  25. Yes You can either take a proctored test and present results or take a Self Test and take picture of the results or bring the negative test with you. Test must be 2 days prior to cruise departure date.
