  1. You will be fine if all your doing is light browsing, email, texting etc.
  2. I believe the only way is to check in the App or ask onboard - Been on some ships that only have one menu while others vary the menu.
  3. IMessaging works great over the WiFi as well as FaceTime and Wifi Calling. Also programs like WhatsAPP work well. For these you will require at least a Basic Package.
  4. You can use it for that purpose but is very limited. Most report that there is no audible signal when you receive a message. I seem to remember hearing a very light ping. You create an account on your phone and choose free internet. With this you can access your celebrity app, and can use all the free functions. You then have to link the other members you want to communicate with. It is pretty easy but don't remember how it is done.
  5. I was trying to understand the differences in the numbers and rely on Celebrity's official Fleet Guide. capacity is based on lifeboats and certified Max Capacity. It is really a good resource and shows how the reallocation of rooms during the Revolutions were allocated to number of pax per room type. I love Cruise Deckplans and use it almost daily but they do have some incorrect data at times. For Reflections - 1,523 Cabins 3,046 capacity at 2 PAX per Cabin 3,480 maximum legal capacity Constellation 1,092 Cabins Max Capacity at 2x per cabin 2,184 Max Legal 2,559
  6. The muster can be done on the TV. After listening to it you click an acknowledgement button and the names of the guests that watched it (based on honor system). I believe each passenger then has to show up at the muster station and have their card swiped and possibly a 1 minute display of the life jacket. You don't need to log in or use the app.
  7. Really enjoy how everyone on CC is reaching out to give such love an support. I'm buying first round at the Martini Bar.
  8. Ahh...I see. I would try uninstalling and re-installing the app. Mine automatically pops up the Log In screen if logged out.
  9. You should be in good shape. Not sure of the brands of cosmetics but did stop in the shop to find a nice perfume for our daughter. I'm terrible with things like perfume but the attendant was really good about having me describer her and her activities. She came up with a selection that was just perfect - understated but elegant. If I recall they had Dior, Chanel ,Clinque, Lancôme and Este Lauder and probably many others. Of course they don't carry a full line like in Department Stores.
  10. I was on Solstice in December. If you get a room aft of 1615 you should be ok as there will be sky suites above you. Forward of there you will hear noises when they clean the decks early and move the chair around. You will also hear the loud music at the pool when they perform. I was unlucky to be in one of the Sky Suites 2132 That area is under the tiled floor leading to the dishwasher and plate area. You start hearing carts at 5:30 AM and they sound like subways passing by every 15-20 mintues. They quiet down and then resume at lunch and dinner times. Worst cabin I have ever had for noise.
  11. I have to agree with you on some items. For us we never bring wine aboard so wouldn't have an effect on us. RCL also announced yesterday that with the exception of Suites they will be cutting room cleaning to once a day. Hmmmm... wonder how that will be received.
  12. Walk offs usually begin at 7:00 followed by general disembarkation at 7:15 11AM may be a tight connection and I would leave as early as possible. They recommend 2 hour arrival for European Flights 3 hours for International flights. Lines are often very long.
  13. All bars have always been open when in Bermuda. Yes drink packages are good from the time you board until the cruise ends. Does not matter if in port.
  14. What a epic journey. One which none of us would like to repeat. Good luck. Hopefully you will get your luggage quickly and get to the pier on time. I'm guessing traffic won't be too bad at the 1PM time. From working in the are the normal time from the airport to the Pier is between 25-45 minutes.
  15. Luminae is always excellent. Every time I've ordered it has been cooked to a perfect Medium Rare by request. I would say the one offered in other venues have also been tender, tasty and cooked properly. Especially good at the Lawn Club, Murano, Fine Cut and Tuscan. I am one that prefers Lamb to beef and miss the Lamb Burger they use to have in Luminae for lunch.
  16. I have so enjoyed following along. I have to say Jeremy's smile is infectious. His love for you is so apparent every time he is captured looking at you. I can't believe it is that terrible time of a cruise when the luggage tags arrive. Looking forward to your next live post. One quick question when you get a chance to answer. In Luminae on an E-Class ships, do you get the same waiter and assistant every night or do you different ones each evening? I really like it when we just have a single server so we can get to know them and they get to know us.
  17. They should be able to work with you on a flora display. On Celebrity's Gift portal they have a Tropical Display that I like. https://www.celebritycruises.com/int/cruise-gifts/items-results?category=SPOCCA&collection=CELEBRPACK Some of the "Spring Displays" are more of a mixture of what is available and sometimes takes on an autumnal look. We often are given flower arrangements as Top Cruisers and they vary quite a bit. Here’s a couple examples.
  18. If you win an upgrade you will get the amenities that come with the room - Blu and Persian Gardens. You will not get the Perks that come with a booking for Aqua - Drink Package, Internet and Tips If you aren't interested in Blu or Persian garden's I wouldn't bid on an upgrade.
  19. I travel with travel sharp container as I only one shot a week. I have also just asked the stateroom attendant and he got one quickly.
  20. Oh.. my. You are definitely having a tough trip. Keep us updated as we will be following your progress with baited breath.
  21. I've always gotten a call and email from the Personal Cruise Consultant. It may be easiest to just call the booking number and press new booking (it speeds you through) explain and ask if they could look up your Cruise Consultant or help you.
  22. I've done at least a dozen crossings and have a different view. West Bounds - Really depends on whether you take the Northern, Mid-Atlantic or Southern Crossing. We have had some rough Northern Crossing the worst being 2018 when a huge Arctic Storm (not a hurricane from the Caribbean) caused us to divert south of the Azores and put us into Boston a day late. Our deck furniture was tied down for the entire crossing. On the other hand I have down many southern crossings and the seas were as smooth as a lake and temperature for most of the crossing was like Hawaii. Real advantage of a Westbound is you gain an extra hour sleep for 6 days as oppose to loosing an hour almost every night on an Eastbound. The crew love the Westbound because they get the extra hour to party while on a Eastbound they loose an hour of sleep each timezone Change. Eastbound - The cruises can also be very different via the route. The Southern Crossings are the smoothest and warmest while the Mid-Atlantic or Northern can be chilly and variable on on seas. We avoided the Eastbound for about 20 years and finally decided to try the spring sailing. The time zone changes do take a toll on your and the crew but at least as a passengers you can grab a nap or sleep in. We also took the B2B to Iceland and Greenland and back last year. We had much better weather eastbound but only being 10 days apart it was just the luck of the draw. We have decided on the Apex for April of this year but mostly due to the length of the cruise and it being based in Amsterdam/Rotterdam.
  23. Love the movies of the fall. So beautiful. I'm sure a picture or movie can never capture the real Ahhhhh. Kinda like taking a picture of the Grand Canyon -- a picture can never capture the whole experience. Can't wait to do it myself.
  24. Glad you were able to get at least the check-in slot. I just checked in for a cruise on Wednesday with no problem. Since I'm on the West Coast I can usually checkin for a FLL departure at 9:01 PM Pacific. I usually just use the App and select a checkin time initially and then come back later to complete. When I completed it I used the app to scan my passport and then entered my CC details. I usually then go to my laptop and upload a stock photo
