  1. Iain got the invite and I found it in my Junk Mail.
  2. I held on to mine that I bought 200 shares for $11 a share in 1996. It has paid for itself over and over again. Even though it took an initial dive today it still up 14X Wish I hadn't sold off some earlier this year to buy 100 shares of Carnival and 100 shares of NCL for Cunard and Oceania OBC's. Thanks for the information I hadn't heard about the resumption of dividends. Wonder if they have a dividend re-investment program.
  3. While I have never done it... the difference in price would be $60 current price vs $124 for the Five Senses. I would think it will be added on at time of ordering as there is no way to book the Five Senses in advance.
  4. TA's are very popular and even though they may be near sold out they are generally less packed due to fewer children and families traveling with more than 2 per cabin. We have mostly done annual WB TA's in the past 23 years and love them. Booked on Silhouette for this year in November.
  5. They previously called it the Five Senses Menu- Prices have really increased from when this one was printed. Gone up from $89 to $124 pp We could never eat all of that but wondering if anyone knows if it is included with the RS Unlimited Specialty Dining? Credits to Cruising Journal where a borrowed he image.
  6. Have you seen any price movement. We originally booked a CS and right after the elimination of Tips - The price of a Royal dropped to only $350 more than a CS but we lost tips and $1,800 OBC... Once calculated it was a great deal since the price was originally $6,000 more for a RS.
  7. Glad you got a great deal. I've often seen prices go up when the sailing is selling well. There is also a good chance it will drop after final payment date when they don't have to price match.
  8. Interesting Rick... I've never seen it before.... is the minimum maximum much more for the AquaClas Sky Suite or is is minimal.
  9. Agree... just looked and same 5-15% discounts that have been there for 6 months plus.
  10. Just wait.... I just received an email to order your very own Zenith Name Badge.
  11. They only show the Generic Sky Suite which cover all three sub-classifications AquaClass Sky, Sky 1 and Sky 2. It is possible you could get any of them but usually you get the lowest. You can hope. It is the same for all others with sub-classifications.
  12. Good to hear. I was impressed every time I used that e-mail. Usually response within one day. Unique for Celebrity.
  13. While I have only done it once when Iain was not feeling well. The buffet in the evenings is definitely an option. On the past recent cruises I went up and took a look at what was on offer. I would not have a problem at all finding something. They also have a grill station, pasta station etc...
  14. Nice picture of both of the guys. He looks a little different from you profile pix.
  15. I just checked my current bookings and also don't see it anywhere. Even though I know I get Internet and drinks packages as both a Suite Guest and a Zenith it doesn't show up under Order History like in the past. My TA always writes in the comment section all that is included as well as a combination of Celebrity and Agency OBC. I only wish he would break out NR and RF OBC but I do that on a spreadsheet. It is one of the thinks I like about my agent. This is the last booking I have that has Pre-Paid Tips...
  16. They do have some like that and some that also have an additional set of doors that can be closed to allow you to leave both doors oen
  17. To save a lot of time, frustration and effort would recommending you call either Celebrity or a TA. You can do it yourself but you would have to go through all the floor plans and then actually find two cabins that are still available. It is easier to do on some TA sites and any of the airlines sites because they show available rooms with little green dots or other markings. .
  18. Well for one you could do what I did a number of times when they raised the NR to Astronomical levels for Suites -- CS example below for a TA in 2025. I booked a Refundable and closer in to cruise date the price had dropped for NEW BOOKINGS ONLY. I cancelled and immediately re-booked at the Non-Refundable fare. $3,458 RF vs a $1,800 deposit NR
  19. Agree -- Just the same 'ol Marketing PR Spin.... Making Lemonaid out of Watermelons.
  20. Cheaper than booking a RS. LOL
  21. I have to say that I believe they have had family hours on almost all cruises I've been on, TA, Iceland/Greenland Cruise, South American Cruises, TP's, California Coastal etc. OK I don't personally use the inside pool but just notice it when I walk through.
  22. When we were on Edge (with you) our waiter would bring us MDR, BLU and Luminae menus for the next evening and ask us if we would like anything for the next evening. While we really appreciated it sometimes it is hard to figure out what you might be in the mood for the next day. Since we were in a RS on the second cruise we ate in Specialty about 50% of the time. Not big meals.... In Tuscan one night I just had Soup and a Pizza. I'm still not impressed with the food prep in Luminae on E-Class, which was not addressed.
  23. Have to agree with your wife. This year we began booking other than Celebrity and have bookings on Celebrity, Cunard, Silver Sea, Regent and Oceania. I've been reading on all these forums and VLogs. All have threads on --- drop in services, food, dress code etc...etc. Each also have their group of cheerleaders. I read with an open mind but also realize people are more prone to complain and we al have to accept the fact --- The World will never be the way it was in the Ol' day. I love to read live reports and most are open to discuss reality.
  24. When I had that happen, I sent an email to the CelebrityMoveUp@Celebrity.com and they fixed it and sent me a link. They no longer have a link for that on the move-up page so not sure if it still works.
  25. We've not gotten there yet. I currently need Firewire, Type C and Micro for lots of things I have.
