The cruise before Ovation’s transpacific isn’t for sale either but strangely the Honolulu to Seattle is still for sale. It might go via Singapore? Quantum’s transpacific has disappeared also.

I was trying to catch up with a blogger on Brilliance ,last cruise,I haven’t met. We agreed to meet in a bar called Vintages and ask at the bar. I asked at the bar,is there a Carl at the bar . A gay gentleman with a feminist voice replied, I can be anything you want sweetheart.

Wasn’t that a few months ago? The cat come from Arizona on the transpacific or is it another one?

@springaussie Whats going on with Ovation at the end of next season? It looks like they are pulling it out of the transpacific.

It’s odd that they aren’t available but it could be just a glitch. Ovation is still booked it Tahiti for the transpacific. If it was to go via Singapore it would drop into Darwin in northern Australia but there’s no port bookings. Time will tell .

I was looking at that but it’s seems it’s off the market . I wonder what’s going on? It looks like the cruise before the transpacific has been pulled also. Ovation isn’t due for a dry dock March 2026 I believe. This looks a job for @springaussie

Spectrum might just stay in Singapore , I don’t know if Anthem could got to Ravenna .

I was told it’s good and has a bit of a younger clientele . I think Geoff was going on it but decided on Carnival instead. LOL

I think it was the very start of the pandemic and they pulled Spectrum out of china and brought it to Sydney.It just sat at anchor . It was a treat for the firefighters after our Bush fires we had. They didn’t do any revenues here ,I don’t think it was suitable for our market . It would definitely not be suitable for North America.

NO They would have to pull the rice cookers out and put in French fry cooker . Not to mention the gaming machines in the casino.

You could be right, I think there might be a reshuffle and Spectrum won’t go to China . The economy in Shanghai hasn’t hit bottom yet and bet Royal isn’t getting the bookings they want.

Where would you be catching the train from ? And I presume it’s Circular quay you are cruising from because there’s also White bay cruise terminal. Generaly it’s the best way to get around Sydney.

Everyone has been waiting for this extravagancer that Royal has been hyping. Carbon neutral,lots of jobs for the locals but nothing. About the only thing they have done is give Lelepa school some chairs and strangely a charity claims they gave them not R.C. My point is, Carnival seems a lot more genuine in developing tourism in Vanuatu.

What’s 2 billion Vanuatu work out in $AU ? Is that about $25 mil It a lot of investment and will help the locals support their community.

There seems to be a storm brewing about Royal being inconsistent and dropping the ball. Talking to my sister that was on that cruise with you. She was told by a couple of bars that water is free for Diamond members. They gave her a couple of free bottles in the evening on top of her 5 vouchers ?? She threw a tantrum about the coffee machine being broken in the lounge. They said it just broke along with the toaster and they are searching the world for parts. The toaster broke before the transpacific and the coffee machine has been intermittent for months. It only worked a couple of days when I was on ,the thing is as old as Noah .why don’t the just buy another?? . As for coffee she was told to just flash her seacard at the coffee shops and she did. No vouchers, no questions asked,free cappuccinos .

On the first day, opened the door and there was water running out of the ceiling. They pulled the ceiling out to repair a pipe ,it took all day . The cabin was wet for 2 days and there was a big dryer in the cabin. And no hot water for the whole cruise ,apparently the cabin had a issue before.

I got a letter on my front door on the last night of a cruise about a month ago . It said 100% credit and after a month of dealing with Miami . I have trouble getting 20% . So much for their word let alone getting it in writing.

Don’t talk about P&O and carnival like that LOL

You can’t get blood out of a stone uncle Les and even harder to get it out of a multi national. BIG GAV ! He doesn’t even have a landline to his office . He will probably be working out of the boot of his car soon.
