With the new terminal that Royal has built in Ravenna I would say Ovation or Quantum will be home ported there to increase capacity. A oasis would be to big for the Mediterranean ports there and there’s a few tender ports. The money Royal Caribbean has spent they will have to increase capacity.

@springaussie what do you recon Glen ,if voyager does reposition to Brisbane.This would be the last cruise in the Mediterranean. That would give Voyager a month to get to Brisbane,does that gives it enough time do you think? Do you think they would have passengers? Because I can book a cabin at a reasonable price for just a $100 deposit on this cruise. Fly to Venice for a few days and join the ship for the repositioning to Australia.

It looks voyager leaves Rome on the 3rd of November.

If you look closely it’s duel fuel which is more practical. It should be able to be able to run on a lot of different fuels .,Diesel ,Ethanol,L.N.G and ammonia.

The first couple of weeks of December used to be fruitful. Thats when RC used to give a $1,000 OBC but I think those days are gone.

Shouldn’t you be working? Isn’t there three cruise lines you have to service ? Now Disney ? Those complimentary buffets must be taking a toll .

That looks like a kind of voyager? It supposed to be something ‘ mesmerising’ . A lot of the rumours are coming from that Nathan Graveson , he seems to be fairly well connected.

The rumours coming from Meyer Weft ship yard in Germany are getting stronger. We should have something public on a new class of ship and it’s supposed to be something totally different. Voyager will be 26 years old by then and with the push to reduce emissions it’s going to be hard to deploy large old ships like that. They will have to find short runs with lots of port days until it’s not viable anymore. Ravenna will have a new Royal Caribbean terminal then ,so I think Quantum and /or Ovation may go there . Europe is bringing in some tough environmental laws and they have to comply.

Singapore? Has Singapore got a navy,I think they would sink it or cut it up for scrap . It could make sense with the emissions and their short haul cruises but hasn’t Royal got a agreement to have newer ships there.

Not Sydney, it’s our biggest market. If it could get into Cairns ,it might be a winter possibility. I can’t imagine where a old ship like that would be going.

It looks like Voyager leaves Brisbane on the 6th of April 2026 ,any speculation where it goes? It could be Sydney,Theres quite a few unknown in Sydney over winter. It looks like only 2 ships for the 25-26 season for now .Ovation for the whole season in Sydney and voyager for a short season in Brisbane.

It could very well be Voyager . It finishes in the eastern Mediterranean November 2025 ,Ravenna to Rome and departs Rome on the 3rd . That would be a good Repo.

Yeah those Rhino beetles are in the back of everyone’s mind ,run don’t walk. A fellow I was talking to showed me a screenshot of a private cabana on Cocoa island. It was for up to 10 people I think he said but the price is pretty eye watering for 4-5 hours!!

A bit of factual reporting there Geoff . Yourkies knob isn’t suitable for a big ship like that ,they have trouble tender at the best of times.
