  1. We haven't been to Labadee in forever and I was looking for an itinerary like that but they don't seem to fit our schedule unfortunately. Enjoy!
  2. Yep, it's an ongoing glitch. I've even seen $183.99 for my Wonder cruise in June.
  3. I'm far from an expert as I am not well-traveled at all but I feel this 100% applies to Alaska. My wife spent a year planning 10 days on land (with the aid of an outside company, not RC) before we cruised southbound from Seward to Vancouver. Nothing against the cruise portion, it was very enjoyable, but it was the 10 days on land traveling all the way from Fairbanks to Seward (with several stops along the way) that was the highlight. Granted this made the trip far more expensive than just a cruise but it was well worth what was a special trip for us the cost magnitudes more than the numerous, relatively inexpensive cruises we have taken around the Caribbean (which we continue to enjoy).
  4. We just found that trail on our last visit; had no idea it was there. It was early in the morning and wife didn't feel like snorkeling so we went for a random walk after claiming our favorite loungers (and of course it was too early for me to eat 😁). We found a rooster that didn't seem to want us there; he was quite vocal about it!
  5. Interesting reading the "I'm not a beach guy" comments. Neither am I, we never ever go to the beach here in Florida. I stay in the shade on Coco Cay (or Solarium or Suite Deck). It's the included food and ability to use D vouchers that I enjoy while wife usually does a short snorkel first thing in the morning then chills. We also aren't partiers and I wouldn't go near the human soup in front of the DJ in the Oasis Pool, but our favorite spot is still by the pool where we can hear the music without being in that mosh pit and still find it relaxing, even on short cruises in July when there are obviously kids and party people. The water is nice to cool off in. Not trying to convince anyone of anything, just why we like it despite not being beach people or party people.
  6. I know what you mean. Think I’ve done that once before. 🙈 I’m considering giving it another shot from Wonder in 40 days but we’ll see.
  7. As of now, never. We went on a 3 & 4-night B2B last July just to go twice & otherwise stay on the ship. Then we did the same 4-nighter in October (although the GGG price also played a role). Everyone falls somewhere on the spectrum of cruising for the ship or the ports. We are much closer to the ship side & Coco Cay feels like an extension of the ship to us, being able to use our D vouchers and excellent food included. Different strokes…
  8. Yeah, that's what I was thinking of. I sailed Harmony shortly after those videos were going around on May 29th, 2022 and embarkation went very smoothly even with covid protocols in place. Should be business as usual now.
  9. No issues on Harmony last May (Indy was a breeze as you said but smaller ship obviously). I'm pretty sure those videos are from earlier last spring when there were reasons (can't remember what they were) for the chaos that were resolved by the time I sailed at the end of May. If there have been recent backups, then I'm just unaware of them.
  10. Just to clarify, you can use your vouchers anywhere on the ship at any time. You don't have to use them in the DL. And as mentioned above, you are free to use them to get your friend drinks. The only thing you need to actually use the DL for (as far as beverages go) is the fancy coffee machine for free cappuccino, lattes, espresso, etc.
  11. No, On Air is just a bar on the Promenade that has tv screens but it's often used for karoake, video trivia, etc. If there's no Playmakers there's no sports bar. Sorry.
  12. Us too but I've never heard anyone complain of the lot being full, only of having to park there. My educated guess is you'll be fine in the lot but it's just an educated guess.
  13. I’m looking at it right now. Welcome Aboard, France, Italy, Caribbean, Mexico, Royal Night, Bon Voyage
  14. My wife has asked bartenders if they will toss in a fresh banana (to her virgin strawberry daiquiri but same idea) if she brought them one from the WJ. We got the idea from someone who had mentioned doing it on the suite deck on Harmony the week prior to our cruise last May so she tried it there and the bartender had no problem with the request. Same experience with the Solarium bartender on Indy in both July and October. As an added bonus, the volume increased so much from the banana that she wound up with either two drinks or a very large glass. Not sure if the lack of alcohol or my tip every time we used our D vouchers played a role but she basically wound up with 2 drinks every time (not her intention of course, she just wanted fresh banana in it).
  15. I'm not a big drinker (although I try my best on cruises, especially on the rare occasion I'm in a suite, lol) and I became a Kraken enthusiast based on many recommendations over my past few cruises. Good stuff. Next up to try is a Kraken Mojito (Kraken's website calls it a Black Mojito.)
  16. Kraken Colada BBC (Baileys Banana Colada) Bushwhacker Mudslide
  17. Solarium Bistro is free and Playmakers/Portside isn't exactly expensive. Would make sense if she was doing all nicer restaurants, yes.
  18. 45 days out (the app tells you when check-in begins) and yes. You can grab a time and then fill in the rest of the info later if using the app.
  19. He hasn't been assigned a cabin yet. Doesn't seem like anything is wrong. Did you mix him up with someone else in this thread? (Not a shot at you, simple mistake unless I'm missing something, just don't want the OP to be concerned.)
