I prefer to book for both but the ship is more important for me. First of all I don’t even cruise that often and my itinerary has already changed quite a few times. I know your ship can change too but it’s a little less likely. I sailed Oasis from NJ just because I live in NJ and it’s the best ship we have here. It was worth it. The ship was fabulous. I agree with whoever said the ports always suck from the NY area.

How big is your container of oat milk and what brand do you like? I’m considering bringing my own on my next cruise. It’s not expensive so it really doesn’t matter if they say I can’t bring it.

It just occurred to me that I don’t know the answer to this. I know it’s horribly overpriced but it’s a bit of a tradition for us to make a trip to the candy store.

Oasis of the Seas: Yay or Nay?
Cherries Jubilee replied to MarieF4861's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I loved Oasis! My Time Dining was quite hectic. I would only suggest MTD if you and your party are very patient and don’t mind standing in a line for a while. If you have people in your party who will be highly irritated waiting at least a half hour for your table go with assigned time dining. -
I have done Taste of Royal twice recently. I did it on Oasis in May and then again on Symphony in July. The menu is exactly what is in this thread. I found the risotto underwhelming both times but everything else was wonderful! It’s worth the price for me just because you get the steak and the shrimp from Chops. I should warn you that it’s a slow lunch. I didn’t have the option to pick the day. It was the last sea day for both cruises.

I am a semi picky eater so I usually order more than one thing. You might notice some other cruisers judging you, especially if you don’t eat most of it, but you won’t go hungry. I have tried all the rare finds. None of them were mind blowing but none of them were bad. The gator bites were probably the best but it is impossible to tell if there is actually any gator in there lol. Cruises are a great opportunity to try new things.

Enjoy! She’s a fabulous ship! -
Does it have reduced deposits? That was what I liked about NextCruise.

Is there seaweed on Coco Cay?

I was there yesterday and there really wasn’t any. It was absolutely stunning. -
Some Thoughts on Symphony of the Seas
Cherries Jubilee replied to drrich2's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Sounds like a good time! I’m boarding Symphony on Saturday. -
I wondered this same thing when I sailed Carnival. The parties are almost all between 30-60 minutes. I guess some people want a REALLY quiet cruise. I have also never been on a short cruise.

Has anyone had this happen on a sailing they wanted to book? I need a balcony room for 3. The only rooms it will let me put 3 in are suites and they’re way out of my budget. I could understand if they were trying to keep the count low, but it would let me book a balcony if there were 4 of us. I’m basically wondering if anyone has seen this happen and then eventually the sailing went back to allowing a group of 3? Otherwise I’ll have to find a new birthday cruise. 😪 It’s the January 13,2023 Anthem cruise by the way.

your favorite buffet item?
Cherries Jubilee replied to havanadaydreaming's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
I really enjoyed the fried vegetables on the Mardi Gras buffet. -
Any recent experience with Coki Beach?
Cherries Jubilee replied to ValerieJo's topic in St. Thomas/St. John
Thank you so much @blue_water and @mitsugirly ! I don’t think my family members can handle having to drag their own chairs and loungers like they would need to at Magen’s Bay and we went to Sapphire last time so we want to try Coki. I’m actually reading your latest land vacation review right now @mitsugirly ! I’m just getting to the part where you made it to St.Thomas. -
Scarlet Lady / Live / Solo / Back to Back!

Thank you for taking us on another epic adventure Sid! I think B2B is definitely the way to go on VV. -
Not at all lol. I’m going on Symphony in July and stopping at all the same ports. It’s always good to know what I could be doing and what I should avoid! I definitely would have complained about that excursion too. I hate complaining but not as much as I hate being cheated. I also wish the vendors would slow down on the repeated sales pitch. And I have only been to Coco Cay once but I also loved it! Thank you for replying 😉
