  1. This is an absolutely great review and such a treat for those of us who can't cruise at the moment.  I love the food pictures.  What is the green stuff around the glass that has the raspberries and something chocolate in it?  Looks amazing.  Thank you for sharing.

Your first picture of the ship with the greenery in the foreground should be made into a poster.  It is gorgeous.  Celebrity could sell cruises on Edge with just this photo!

  2. I think it takes about 2 hours to get to Geiranger, so that would be 4 hours travel plus the time to pick up the rental car and then take it back.  Then we would want time to drive up  to the famous viewpoint on Mt Dalsnibba as well.  We only have a 9 hour stop in Alesund, so we don't have buckets of time.

  3. We cancelled the Sept 4 cruise in May.  We thought it too early to be safe.  I tried to get them to extend the FCC to include Oct 2022.  Nope.  So we opted for the cash and we have already received it.  So sorry everyone.  It's a bummer isn't it?  Since then, we have had 2 more cruises cancelled.  Almost makes you afraid to book anything.

  4. Very interesting thread seeing everyone's plans for Norway.  We just booked Azamara Quest July 25/22 today.  It sails from Dublin to Amsterdam, taking in one port in Scotland and 8 in Norway.  Should have booked last week when I was looking at it.  Price went up today.  He who hesitates................

  5. We were booked on the same 40 days on Journey as ECCruise.  This was to be our first taste of Azamara.  We haven't even heard a peep from them regarding the cancellation and I wouldn't know if it were not for Cruise Critic.  I am not interested in Europe, or the Caribbean having been there many times.  Very very disappointed.

  6. We are on a B2B from Tokyo to Athens Apr 26 - June 5 2022, not going to Australia/NZ on this itinerary, but something is going on there too.  I fear more cancellations.  This is our fourth attempt to see Petra.

  7. Yes, Vancouver is melting.  We are not used to 41C (105.8F).  Many here do not have A/C as it is not usually needed.  We are fortunate to have it in our home.  Lytton BC was the hottest ever. yesterday at 47.8C (118F).  Records are being broken all over and people are dying of heat exhaustion.  It is to cool down a few degrees tomorrow and the next day.  We flooded the soil around our hydrangea yesterday as it was terribly wilted.  It mostly recovered but the top leaves are burned around the edges.  i have never seen that before.

Schools and businesses have closed because it is too hot for people to function.  This coming on top of the COVID pandemic is just hard to take in.

    Keep cool and safe everyone.
