Thank you Pat. She’s doing good. Her therapy has picked up doing more movement which makes her pretty sore. She’s handling it well.

I would like a full review. Heard good things.

I have a very bad opinions on dentists. My last dentist was always trying to have me have extras. At one point he thought I needed a crown. I went to another dentist who said it was not necessary. The deep cleaning is not that bad and could maybe help. I’d be weary. May be time to try and find a dentist that will care for you not them.

it affected both teams and there was no blame associated with it to either team. The kickers are not allowed to warm up with game balls where they could have noticed it. Both kickers on each team missed field goals and the problem was fixed by the second half not affecting the outcome. No conspiracy here.

Need to have a serious conversation with my urologist to solve this. I know there are a lot of options. I just need to get something done. It’s not like I will never have another surgery again.

Yes. I believe I mentioned it to my surgeon but I was hopeful that it wouldn’t be an issue this time. Are you tired of them because they keep winning Championships? I guess it’s the Tom Brady and the Patriots syndrome which isn’t a bad problem as most teams would love to be in the same situation. I’m tired of all the Taylor hate. Give her a break. Did you see where she sent $100,000 to the family of the slain victim after the parade that she wasn’t even at?

Thanks Debbie. Yes that amount explains why I was in so much pain. Yes I plan on staying hydrated.

Just when I thought I was recovering good with the hernia. My prostrate decided to be stubborn again. I was in pain all day as I couldn’t urinate. Ended up having to go to the ER late last night and had a catheter put in (that was not fun at all) and they drained 1200ml off of me. Now I’m back home catheter and all. I’m very uncomfortable but at least not in the pain as I was in. Now I have to get back to urologist and see how long this thing will have to stay in. Life is not fun right now.

Never tried meditation much. Might have to try.

Thanks. I’ve got more pain today but it’s tolerable. Just trying to take it easy.

I may have to try that. I remember having the same issue on my first knee replacement. Wasn’t a issue with my second as they had trouble inserting a catheter and they inserted it after sedation and then they had me leave it in for a week. Thanks John!!!

Yes talk about a very sad end to what was a wonderful celebration. My pain is manageable and I’m doing good except for my heart which is so sad and heartbroken.

Thanks Mark. I’m surprised that I don’t have much pain….(yet?) biggest problem is getting my bladder to wake up. I’ve made so many trips to the bathroom with nothing happening.

Thanks Sue, it was a hernia that apparently I had for awhile but got worse. Not sure when I got it but the surgeon said it was a big rip.

Update: I’m home after a successful surgery. The rip was a large one and I had some intestine poking out. I am sore but pain is doing ok. I have some good pain meds. On another note my heart is heartbroken that what should be a day of celebration of our hometown Chiefs winning the Super Bowl got a dark shadow casted over us. While we don’t know all the information 1 is dead, multiple shot and injured. Thankfully our brave law enforcement ran towards the chaos and even citizens pursued and restrained the shooter. Still an active crime scene now as the investigation is ongoing. Any pain I have from the surgery is nothing compared to the pain, sadness, anger and depression I feel that this happened for what should have been a great celebration.

Thank you Helen. My knee surgeon said it was ok to continue my knee rehabilitation. The one thing I do need to be careful about is my breathing. Some of the exercises I do I sometimes hold my breath. My therapist says that’s a no no. I need to breathe and not put any pressure on the groin area.
