Sunset Verandas are always more expensive since they are on the aft and really only a true balcony as all the others are infinite verandas that are basically a window.

Experimented with a mock booking on MSC for Yacht Club for two on a 7 night was over $6k not seeing that it is that much cheaper than Royal.

Unfortunately while we saved well and have good pensions and 401k’s we are not made of money. When set up our retirement with our financial advisor she asked us what we wanted to do while retired. We said cruise. We figured out we could go on 2 cruises a year. Sometimes 3 if the prices are good. If the prices continue to rise we may end up only going on 1 a year. That would be a shame. Which MSC Ships have you’ve been on and liked? Any special itineraries you liked with them?

Yes I want to try Celebrity. It is more expensive than Royal but depends on the ship. I mocked booked the Ascent and it was 7k for a sunset veranda. I’m glad you got to celebrate this milestone. I’m sorry you had to go to too many funerals. I’m so sorry. There are no words I could adequately say. Good for you. We have 5 booked too. Always something to look forward to.

I can’t tell you how happy we are with this investment. Made all the difference in the world for us and the dogs. Really did well in the winter with snow and rain.

Yeah pricing is outrageous. Looked at a 7 night from San Juan on Rhapsody and it was over $3200 for a balcony. Most we ever pause for a 7 nighter out of SJ was $2500.

This is for next year in 2025 after Bella 2.0 and 2.5 and before Bella 3.0

Funny thing after we booked this I looked at my other scheduled cruises and this exact ship and itinerary is also booked for us on Bella 3. Checked with wife and she’s ok doing the same ship and itinerary 3 months later.

Just booked a cruise for October 18, 2025. Oasis of the Seas 8 night out of Fort Lauderdale going to Aruba, Curacao and Perfect Day. Four sea days in all. Come join us!!!!!!!

That was good that they did that. I wish Royal would be more clear on what the excursion really is. I know they leave out a lot of details.
