  1. Thanks George! They have closed most of the schools for the day. Should be interesting to see what kind of crowd shows up. The weather looks like it will be good. Last year’s parade was freezing cold.
  2. Thanks everyone for the well wishes before surgery tomorrow. I’m ready to get this hernia repaired as I have been uncomfortable for the last 4 months. I’m glad it’s going to be done laparoscopy with a faster recovery time. My only concern is that I hope I will not sneeze for several days. I remember after my first hernia and sneezing. Boy did that hurt!
  3. Thank you Graham! Amy wife has left the living room and gone upstairs to clean before because the game was nerve wracking. I completely understand. Last night we rewatched the game so we could de-stress and enjoy the game.
  4. Great milestone. Glad you didn’t hurt yourself too much with that fall. With my knees I have to make sure when I get up from the couch to stabilize myself before trying to walk. I’ve almost fallen a double of times trying to get up too quickly.
  5. Thank you! Needless to say I’m exhausted today. The Parade is Wednesday the same day as my surgery. My surgery is scheduled for 7:30am with the parade starting at 11am. I hope to be back home by then recovering and can watch it on tv hopefully if I’m not too out of it.
  6. Thanks Andrew! Still on cloud 9. I’ve seen some of the social media. I just shake my head. Just when I hope the human species is advancing I get reminded how stupid people can be. The haters will always hate, the doubters will always doubt. I’m not going to argue with them. I’m proud of the team and the city they play for.
  7. Yes it’s easier when they play bad and lose. When it’s the Super Bowl all the pressure compounds itself.
  8. I’ve never hated any other team. All teams have great players and great fans. I respect that. This game could have gone either way. I feel lucky that my home town team won. I have great respect for the 49’ers their team and organization.
  9. I don’t know how many more Super Bowl games I can take. I was in a bad mood till the very end. I will say this to the haters. NFL! "You can doubt the Chiefs. You can dislike the Chiefs. You can disrespect the Chiefs. You’re gonna have to deal with the Chiefs!" Mitch Holthus,
  10. Yes and his song “New York, New York” is his trademark. But the history of Vegas has a firm footprint of Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and others.
  11. Ever heard of the Rat Pack? Sinatra was a regular entertainer in Vegas. One of his greatest albums was “Sinatra live at the Sands.”
