    Yep, 4 days, this is typical behavior on most mainstream lines..Now if they did a real 11 day cruise, your experience would have been much better. Your tone changed for sure when the 4 day started. Still, thanks for all the pics etc...sailing YC on Seaside in September, 7 days. Just made final payment.

    I was a picky eater when I was 12.. my Mom fixed that. Good to hear of your great cruise. Equinox is one of my favorites, although I have yet to sail in suites on her.

    Now that’s good info..sailing in a suite on the Ascent in January..a first for me on Celebrity.

    Last thing I want is the Govt worried about my cruise prices. It's none of their business. People know the costs going in. IF they don't, they are just uninformed, unaware, etc...not enough Govt intervention in the world to fix that.

    Agree, worrying about a few free drinks seems pointless to me in the big scheme of things.

    There is a reason that most lines have the DSC applied automatically. Folks stiffed the waitstaff/room stewards back in the day. Now they try and handle it for you. I'm guessing that anyone working for you on the ships you mention would gladly accept an extra tip, and not be offended in any way.
