  1. We just got advised that instead of stopping in Maui, we will overnight in Kona. Does anyone have an idea how late the tenders can run? It will be in March, so I think it will be dark early.
  2. I got off the regal princess on Sunday. We got an email talking about all the entertainment we can expect and it mentioned that white and gold night would be on the second formal night. Then when we got on the ship they actually changed the second formal night to “dress to impress” and there was no mention of white and gold night. I think maybe this thing is winding down and they haven’t updated the promotional emails yet. I still saw a dozen or so people dressed in white or gold.
  3. Chacchoben. You will notice the stairs in the picture Harryfat1 posted earlier in the thread.
  4. I’m very interested in doing this day pass too. Did you book in advance or just go down there? Do you remember the cost and inclusions? Thanks in advance

On the regal princess I ordered a glass of wine and the waitress also brought a little plate with an assortment of cheeses. The international cafe is very close if you prefer something more substantial
  6. If you’re on Amazon, search cruise power bar or cruise power strip. There’s a bunch of different kinds
  7. It sounds like he’s missing the payment info. I think you have to be under your profile and there will be an option to share your payment method.
  8. I think you can ask for one if your balcony didn’t come with one. They usually have a couple extra floating around somewhere
  9. I think it’s about 6” x 8”. I can get my phone in there, a few credit cards, lipstick and Kleenex. Small enough that I have an excuse not to carry my husband’s stuff around 🤣
  10. Every time we get a flyer in the mail, it will either have the cruises mentioned. Or there will be a QR code that brings you to a website with all of them. Each flyer has a campaign code. And the code goes with that specific offer. I’ve noticed the cruises being offered on the different flyers are not always exactly the same.
  11. I live in Canada and I read something about it being optional but it can supposedly speed up the customs process.
  12. The salad station is great.there are so many options to add to your salad. And if I see chocolate croissants, I have to have one. They’re really good.
  13. You can. My brother-in-law did this. He knew he wanted to cruise but he didn’t know if his wife or son was going to come. They booked the room with his name as the lead guest and they just put ZZZZZ (last name) down as the second guest. Once his wife figured out her work schedule he just had to call back and add the second guest name.
  14. Yup. I get emails and Facebook ads about cruises I looked at.
  15. I’ve heard about people losing their medallion and going to guest services and the issue a new one that even has the name engraved. They could probably do it if you ask. They probably have a way to change the name as it displays too because there was a privacy discussion a few days ago and people travelling solo were saying they could have their name not displayed on the door sign if they asked. I almost think this is a serious enough request that it would be worthwhile to email or call in advance.
  16. I agree with this. And another thing to add is that points are earned by coin in. Not necessarily how much you lose. If you are playing for a long period of time and winning and losing your own money back all night it’s very possible for you to not be down at all but still managed to rack up a lot of points. This happened to us in Las Vegas. They let you log into your member account online and see what your coin in was. I knew for sure we were only down $137. But when I read our play report it told me that over the course of our trip our coin in was over $5000. My husband and I have this strategy when we play where we cash out and then only play with our winnings. And when you do that you do a lot less damage to your budget.
  17. I know on my last cruise my husband had 2100 points and he got an offer for an inside room and a little bit of freeplay. His brother had 10000 points and his offer was for a balcony room with princess plus and more free play but I’m not sure how much. Maybe that gives you a general ballpark idea.
  18. I have this. I put smart bulbs in my living room. And I have a smart plug for the fish tank and the Christmas tree. I have a Google nest but they work with other assistants. And I just say Google turn on the lights. Or Google turn on the fish tank etc. I’m thinking about getting some for my mom for Christmas because she always gets excited when Google does stuff. I also like when I’m cooking I can ask Google how many grams are in a tablespoon of butter or whatever, especially when I have cookie dough all over my hands and don’t want to look something up.
  19. When you scroll down, there’s something that says travel companions. You just have to enter their booking number to link them. Once they’re in there you can include them on your dining reservations and arrival time.
  20. I wish my spouse knew how to make hollandaise 🤣
  21. Bars keep track of the amount of alcohol in bottles just as seriously as retail operations keep track of cash in the register drawer. Everything is rung in. And inventories are taken on a regular basis. I’ve watched managers using a dipstick type device to measure the millilitres of liquid in the alcohol bottles.
