Have sailed both Celebrity and NCL. Celebrity Edge...(we are in our late 60's) and we felt we were the babies. Celebrity to us was extremely boring. Knitting class? No. Golf putting tournament (only 3 people showed up) & was held in a bar with 2 water glasses. No. Trivia..2 couples showed up. Entertainment not for us. Now NCL...love all the game shows. Love all the entertainment, music. Also no set time for dining. That part is great. Obviously...we prefer NCL.

Bought one from Amazon..."Olde Thompson salt and pepper mill". Its great. Comes filled with both salt and pepper.

NCL is usually top notch on service. Whether its guest services, food, entertainment, cabins... Please try another ship. We love the larger ships..Bliss, Encore, Joy. Don't be a one and done. Give them a second chance.

My hair is long (down to my waist) and shampoo/conditioner combo in shower is fine. It works for me. I do not pack any.

Sorry you hurt your foot. But, on beaches in Carrib, I always wear water shoes...lots of lava or coral type rocks. Even at Great Stirup Cay, wear water shoes.

Yes, they remember you...well maybe not you...but lots of others. We actually share our wedding anniversary date with an officer and his wife (Asst Gm), also my birthday same as member of cruise next staff. When you talk to crew, you can make some lifelong friends, as we and many, many others have done.
