  1. I'm firing my new one as she won't generally respond and has become aggressive when she does (previous one retired). @rabin1gave me a initials on 1 but we didn't click. If most of my cruises were USA based I'd just go to a TA or do it all myself but I really only need help when stranded flying long distances
  2. @cruzin4usI used to have one, but she retired.
  3. I can't get mine to respond via phone call or emails. How do I get reassigned?
  4. My previous PVP extended 1,802.12 (actually it was more but I used part last month) to 5/1/23 so that I could book a 3/7/23 cruise downunder last December. I can't even get my current one to return my call or emails so I don't know if yours will let you apply it to a 2023 cruise
  5. Oh well. Back onboard in 118 days so I'll buy the minute I board when I can still get email AND take a screenshot of the TV. (Yes I buy wifi but it's sketchy at best, personally thinking it isn't worth $5 a day) If I cruise between now & then I'd have to pay in full anyway
  6. I bought it on the TV. That's how I'd done it on past medallion voyages. I was only getting some of my emails & don't open my account onboard so I went to PSD to see if they knew (didnt) and Future Cruise Consultant was closed.
  7. Nuts (stronger language sensored)
  8. Caveat: ask for a bill before getting off .... I did at 1:30am. I noticed there wasn't a charge for buying a FCD and I hadn't received an email that my Visa was charged. Tried to correct but I still cannot find it. Ah well, I'm back on in 4 months & will get 2 then. Can it be bought afterwards??
  9. Yes. I had all FCC expiring 5/23 moved to a 3/23 cruise by calling the 1800Princess number. It's now an option on the phone tree
  10. @JonlLeewelcome to Cruise Critic! It would help if we knew where you are embarking. SF north through Canada? My ship was full with slow embarkation for those not in 1st grouping and no one checked for assigned time slot. Florida south to Caribbean or Panama? Ship 1/2 full and embarkation extremely fast for me even in a later group. Seattle last summer (skipping Canada so not relevant)? They were kinda rude to those who did not show up during their 'assigned' time 🤔 but thats the port workers not Princess
  11. I digress ..... the napkin twirling in the age of Covid OmicronB is more than annoying. I'm really surprised that other dining room areas were all into that on the Ruby Princess. Way to spread those crumbs / droplets 👃💦!!! (That was the 1 time I sat in the QUIET AREA (3 tables behind a wall extending 3/4 way) and so glad I did (my usual table #418 was occupied)
  12. As I walked down Caribe towards C243 I noticed 1 room being stripped down and sanitized mid cruise. Should have been my steward (it was only a few doors down & well within his section) but it was a different crew. Wanted to ask but didn't. Think it was the same room an 'officer' walked to earlier. Anyone know who left via ambulance?
  13. Then he rattled on!!!! 😶 Next time I'm just saying "NO I prefer to eat alone" unless I personally know them.
  14. Yes. I got mine posted in my bank within just a few business days (weekends not included), how long have you been waiting?
  15. Under 'Cruise with Confidence?' Grandson was assured that he could get his passport at SF or Walnut Creek Passport Office by the Clayton office (not sure where SF office is but WC is in the USPS). Hope Walnut Creek was correct
  16. DaVinci by far!! Or whichever dining room is Deck 6 Midship. Michaelangelo (Deck 5 Midship) in normal times tends to have longer lines but both have great access to Vines & GS for starting that glass of wine. (I have only 1 glass at night)
  17. Breakfast: Yogurt parfait but with plain yogurt Vanilla tea Dinner: Pumpkin Walnut crepes Leak cheese souffle Fettuccine Alfredo - yes it was better in the parmesan bowl but still great All of the gelato flavors ex chocolate.
  18. It is unfortunate that they did not refer him to an expediter like the SF, Clayton, and Walnut Creek office does. Yes it's an extra $100 but they supposedly can get one. Grandson has an appointment with them when he returns from current tour ($130 application fee + a $35 execution fee + $100 expedite = $265). The LA offices are at 1. Los Angeles Passport Agency, Passport office in Los Angeles County, California 2. 24 Hour Passport & Visas Los Angeles, 11022 Santa Monica Blvd #100 3. 24 Hour Passport & Visas Los Angeles, 8170 Beverly Blvd #101 I'm not posting that to chastise OP for not knowing but in case others will need an expediter. Yes Princess will respond. This is 2022 not 2020. Refunds are coming through in days not months. In fact, PVPs can get them transferred while the cruiser is on the phone! So yeah, they will state that the person did not cancel but showed up without proper documentation. Sucks!! 🤬🤬
  19. A smallish person could walk right through on the Ruby Princess. Maybe they removed 1 table? At any rate, I only had 1 person ask to join me. Social dictates that I acquiesce ..... has anyone declined that request? He didn't check in just walked in as if he was joining someone he knew (he wasn't). WWYD? Can you give me a reply as I'm sure it'll happen again.
  20. In the past if I called Princess then they could book all excursions under my OBC as its usually fairly large. Moondogy, have you been denied that recently? I've only cruised solo since the restart so my info may be dated (2018)
  21. As stated on the Princess FAQ site: "For information regarding WHTI compliant documents, visit the US Customs and Border Protection website."
  22. Yes but it does also give a link to US Customs & Border Pritection as WHTI can be confusing (For information regarding WHTI compliant documents, visit the US Customs and Border Protection website.)
  23. My Juneau Tramway was $25 August 2021, it's $45 now .... same as in port.
