  1. We're looking forward to our cruise on Balmoral in two weeks time, haven't been on Balmoral before but have sailed with FO previously
  2. Thanks for the reply, I was expecting to take an a adapter just wondered if there was a 3pin UK socket ๐Ÿ™‚ I seen the link for FO answer they don't give much away ๐Ÿ˜‚ Thank you again
  3. At least your on a coach and not travelling by car that would be even more stressful! Hopefully the driver will make up some time. Enjoy your cruise ๐Ÿ™‚
  4. A question about the cabins, what plug sockets are there on Balmoral?
  5. Perhaps if you never asked for them to be put away the cabin steward took advantage and thought one less to do in the evening ๐Ÿ˜‰
  6. Well done, I'm looking forward to the next instalment ๐Ÿ˜
  7. I will be disappointed if this is true because when I travel with my daughter and grandson we take a bottle each (as allowed) which we use on the balcony when the grandson is in bed the rest of the time we order in the bar and restaurant.
  8. We don't use casino on any ship but on Bolette there was a card table that we walked past in the evening, for the life of me I can't remember what games they had just know some people were betting and had casino chips! It was near the Morning Light lounge, Sorry can't be more helpful ๐Ÿ˜‚
  9. When we were on Ventura in November for 10 nights we had 2 formal nights
  10. On our recent loyalty lunch mostly smart casual with some men wear a jacket shirt and tie and before anyone says trousers as well๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I wore a nice dress
  11. We've done this, disembarked one ship as usual, then embarked later in the day as usual. We didn't get any benefits from P&O or assistance if that's what you were wanting to know. It was pre "c"
  12. That's me all sorted for the cruise have booked parking with CPS (used before) also two excursions and Premier Inn for the night before. I know we could drive down on the day takes about three hours but better safe than sorry ๐Ÿ˜‚ just start the holiday earlier! We are soooo looking forward to this holiday with what's happening to my husband shall be nice to just relax and hopefully have some fun ๐Ÿ™‚
  13. Well I was late checking out cc today and as someone else said there was pages and pages to catchup on๐Ÿ˜‚
  14. When are you going? I'll be home from Balmoral on the 5th of June if you're after me I can find out for you.
  15. I'm another shorty at 5ft mind you I may be shorter now ๐Ÿ˜‚
  16. Thanks, We've been with FO before Braemar was our first and loved it๐Ÿ˜€ We were booked on Balmoral before but it was cancelled due to you know what so it will be a "new" ship for us We like Colours and Taste (?) The Asian speciality restaurant well worth the extra We're really looking forward to the cruise feel we badly need a break
  17. We booked our cruise last weekend and feeling happy to be able to go. The reason for choosing this cruise was it stays in UK so we were able to get insurance that didn't mean getting a mortgage ๐Ÿ˜‰
  18. The two previous years I've done one P&O and a FO as has been said FO is more expensive but the food etc was much better. The two P&O cruises I went with our daughter and grandson and of course that was good for our grandson which is why they were chosen. The FO cruises I went with my husband and it suited us just what we like very much like what P&O used to be. We like the small ships our first FO was on Braemar reminded us very much of Adonia I've just booked a FO at the end of May for 8nights from Newcastle which is so convenient for us as it saves having to go to Southampton. Jean, I'll look forward to your posts hope you have a good time
  19. Thank you everyone for your help. He's going to try an Omron as he can get it on Amazon and if there's a problem easy to return. I knew this group of people would help thanks again๐Ÿ˜
  20. It's a slight change of topic but I'm confident that someone can help me. My husband has been told to get himself a blood pressure monitor as he's to keep a record for medical treatment. I'm sure I've read that some of you have to do this as well can you give me a recommendation for one. thank you
  21. If you have time in Stirling the old jail is worth a visit as well. Eglesbrech has given excellent information ๐Ÿ˜
  22. Very funny, you know what I meant I said we'd been on two cruises๐Ÿ˜‰
