Thank you for taking the time to review and post all of the lovely photographs. We just booked the Muse for next July and this really added to our excitement. It will be our first Silversea cruise.

It's not you becoming less tolerant. There just don't seem to be any boundaries anymore. SO many aren't even aware of others around them. Their phones/music/etc. are all that matter.

We have decided at our advancing ages that we do not like to be locked into a strict pre or post itinerary. The flexibility of doing things on our own suits us and well as our budget. Barcelona is definitely an easy city to do on your own. We were there in May and took taxis everywhere. Booked timed tickets for a couple of places but usually just a day ahead of time. Can't actually comment on the Regent pre cruise but this was our experience post cruise independently.

Must have been some changes because the Regent orchestra on the two cruises prior to Barcelona-London was outstanding!

So nice to see a post from you! On our very port intensive cruise last month my husband and I would say " sir, sir where are we?" Hope you travel soon and take us along with y'all.

Definitely agree with changing in the US and then nonstop to Barcelona. Atlanta is not a difficult place to connect. While there are there are 6 parallel terminals(concourses) they are all connected by an underground train. The train stops are in the middle of the concourses so there are not any extremely long walks. The international concourses E and F are comfortable, spacious, and brightly lit. Easy places to spend some while waiting to connect.

Agree completely. We stay in Wailea and you can see the whales from the shore as you state.

Have enjoyed following your travels in the past but this one particularly warms our hearts. The love for your daughter and for one another is truly rejuvenating to us.

We have been checking for months for shore excursions at our port of call in Rome. No excursions showed. Finally called today and they sent a list of excursions. Not all were available but I am glad I called. No reason as to why the excursions did not show as available on our booking. It was the only port that we had an issue

Ditto this! It is not a relaxing way to end a holiday.

Quite a few of these bookings are still FCC. Our long time travel agent tried to move a booking for us that would have increased their revenue but the cruise line was not budging--it was to a cruise further out. TA stated that the cruise lines are not at all flexible as they might have been before the pandemic. The cruise lines with the exception of a couple borrowed heavily and the payments are crippling.

The cruise lines are still bleeding money including Regent. The compensations of the past will not happen. As for the NZ scenario, that happened to several vessels. Seems the problem might lie with the NZ officials and their approach. Sad that so many vendors in NZ lost so much revenue while struggling to survive after the pandemic.

"No" as others have said. BCN is a great city that you can see a lot of in a day. Enjoy it and take a flight the next day. And, I would definitely look at nonstops back to the States instead of connecting in London or elsewhere.

Thank you so much for your review. Are there any shore excursions that are exclusively marketed for Yacht Class?

Interesting thing about catfish is that whatever they are fed they take on that flavor. We have friends that have a huge catfish operation. Feeding bananas yields great protein for baby food, etc. that tastes like bananas.

Have really enjoyed your review. We want to see the "Blue" island of Madeira when the all of the hydrangeas are in bloom. MSC offers a great itinerary(only one of a couple for that time of year) that we would never have considered except for your review of YC. We aren't Zenith with Celebrity but getting there so we have been loyal to Celebrity. Thank you for opening our eyes to another cruise line's options on an itinerary we really want to do.

Celebrity is so concerned about savings. I just saw a video of the new room service menu and the order form. The fill in the blank order form that is only used once per order must have cost a fortune to print for the entire fleet. Hope LLP and management can turn this ship around. Not looking good if this is their idea of savings.
