  1. Looks like all but Chivas Royal Salute 21Y and Glenmorangie 18y are included. They are the only drinks that exceed the $16 price.
  2. 6 time yacht club cruiser. I also would not be too optimistic about winning a bid in YC interior. There are few of them and they are the first to sell. Lately, the winning bids seem close to the actual booking cost. That being said, I would choose the YIN over the standard balcony every time. I haven't noticed any YC pool crowding on any of my cruises. Outside the YC you will be crowded in the pool areas. I hope this helps.
  3. Yes, there is a dedicated YC elevator for those spaces on the Seaside. Sorry, can't help with the mobility questions.
  4. Thanks for sharing those excellent pictures. Your cabin looks really nice! Surprised to see the manatee!
  5. Whichever you choose, it is just a path that leads you to choosing Yacht Club. Either best rate or best value will lead you there. Wifi and the premium drink package are not options, they are included whether you need them or use them.
  6. I've been upgraded in the past to YC and yes, your paperwork might still show your initial experience, but rest assured you are in Yacht Club.
  7. Pretty sure I've seen that you've been a Yacht Club cruiser before. We just came off Seasore YC on Jan 28. I asked for a frozen Blue Hawaiian in Topsail Lounge and was told it wasn't on the menu, but that the bartender would be happy to make one for me. Which he did, and it was sweet and delicious—only had the one, just to try it. Hope this helps.
  8. Thank you. We're boarding tomorrow. Appreciate the review.
  9. Thanks for posting. The YC boarding line did look quite a bit longer than I've seen. Glad you're able to take the little glitches in stride. We're doing Seashore YC on the 21st, so this is a nice preview for us. First time for us on Seashore as well and we're getting anxious. Thanks again.
  10. OK, if we're gonna do this.... I've run 11 marathons, first one at 65 last one at 73 years. I won't get into all the long distance triathlons over 65, I wouldn't want to brag.
  11. I was going to say the same thing. We cruise Carnival and MSC but Yacht Club only. There will be a world of difference between standard Carnival experience and YC on MSC. Not going to be a fair comparison. I know you will enjoy MSC, have fun!
  12. LOL thank you. I thought that was you. 💗
  13. DW and I during white night on Seaside last month. We're in our late 70's so our style may be out.
  14. Two YC cruises and still waiting for that to happen. It would be nice, but doesn't matter, the YC experience remains my only choice.
  15. 16. MSC black and diamond are the same. I think they changed the official name from Black to Diamond. At any rate, they are identical whichever name is mentioned.

  18. I upgraded from Fantistica to YC1 and they gave me my OBC.
  19. That's how it was for me. I had 4 cruises booked when I heard about the military discount. I emailed, and was awarded 10 percent discount immediately on 3 of them. One, that I had paid in full in advance, because I upgraded over the phone, they did not allow me the military 10 percent discount. I was advised that I did get the VC club discount already for that cruise.
  20. Add me to the "park at the port" club. I like to at least feel like I am in control of the process, it's so convenient and it's not that much money in the grand scheme.
  21. Sailing March 26th and got the upgrade offer yesterday, Jan 5.
  22. I have seen other say that as well. I must just be lucky. I have called MSC maybe 4 times and each time I had almost immediate responses. The longest wait was about a minute. Very helpful for all my concerns and so polite and personable. Not being critical, Korpo, just wanted to express my different experience. Merry Christmas.
