  1. Looking forward to your review - enjoy your trip with your mum
  2. I was told by staff on my last cruise (I asked in part of a conversation about the newer ships) they told me that it helps with promotion and opportunities. And I agree with Georgia_Peaches on the 10, a separate staff member on a different sailing said anything less than a 10 is not a positive review (funny courses I've done at work they normally say a 7 is when people aren't completely happy but don't want to fully give a negative review/answer).
  3. I can't remember how far out BUT it was a lot later than all the other excursions (probably because it's coordinated with city for stands and hotel). Looking at my email it was a few months out I booked the parades but they had been out for a little bit but definitely all the others were way before.
  4. Thank you. The boys have been doing well actually. I think they knew something was wrong - we're pretty certain her cancer from last year was back just with her having issues with her legs which is where it was before. Also before I left they would come and sniff her and leave her be, the day after I arrived in Tampa my husband tried giving her some chicken breast and she wouldn't eat it so he offered it to the 2 year old and he wouldn't. He's an eating machine he never turns down food but we think he could smell something from her on it. I feel like with the parades the first hour we were there - nothing much was going on so you may be ok. The parade also took a long time, I never made it to the end and I was there for hours but called it quits as I was freezing and I made it longer than some people. You just may miss the beginning and majority of the cold - where the stands were the sun didn't hit until later on so it may work out in your favour.
  5. No problem. There was a connecting door in the room. Basically for my room when you came in it is like a mini 'hallway' on the left there was a connecting door. In my case it was locked but if you and the people in the other room are sailing together you'd be able to as for it to be opened. On the balcony there is a divider between the two balconies as well. I really liked this balcony, I did a regular room before and rarely used it but this one is nice. I did room service a few times, mainly when I was sick. But yes the dinning table was nice for eating, one day I had asked the butler to have lunch for 30 mins after I got back from the excursion (I did that incase of delays). 10 mins after I was back he was there with the lunch and they set it up on the dinning table.
  6. This is what I am trying later this year, I had the premium package booked but with cost of living rising I decided to skip the package and then just just my Elite HH drinks to save $.
  7. I haven't 🙃 But then I wouldn't pay for it on a cruise ship either
  8. The computer system is designed for the older ships so typically has 3 options that show - anytime, early and late. However in reality when onboard its anytime. I travel solo so normally get a table for two, I've had no issues getting a table when I turn up
  9. I would say European ones are more dressier as well
  10. My cruise on Beyond so far has been my favourite one, it was over 90% full but I never had an issue with getting a seat anywhere. IV is a hot topic it really comes down to what you like, I was perfectly fine with mine and enjoyed the space.
  11. Yum - but then I eat Marmite as well as Vegemite
  12. Yeah they leave it for other employees to do. I had to do that recently, get on a call and explain people x,y,z were no longer with the company - super awkward.
  13. That doesn't sound good at least there was some sort of refund. I did a beignet one, they had the ingredients for each person and we did all the steps to make the dough. Only bit we didn't do was frying (makes sense), they fried dough they had made in the morning to had more time to proof. After they had us sit in the restaurant and they served us the finished product with sauces and coffee.
  14. That's sad I'm sorry. I find all companies these days aren't communicating about letting people go It's tough finding good people which is why I've been doing things myself, I had a TA but she left and the replacement wasn't good so I've been doing my own bookings.
  15. I just went back to my invoices, I know I had a number assigned to me. Looks like on recent ones the CVP is gone. I don't know if that's a change in the look to the invoices or just gone.
  16. Yes Welsh - accents are tricky, I don't think Welsh is strong but then I grew up with thick Scottish accents with my grandmother. Then again people in Canada ask me to repeat as they don't understand my English - I'm English 🤣
  17. It's unfortunate, companies are doing this it's a cost saving thing - my husband's company did the same thing let a whole department go to hire an external team in Mx to save $. I probably have someone assigned but I've done everything I've needed myself so never spoken to anyone specific if I've called (which is twice, one to upgrade room and one for missing points)
  18. I do not get the all included, I buy cruise only and add tips. Then I wait for sales in the planner for anything else I want.

  20. Maybe there is difference in the backend with coding/APIs between 16 and 17. My work just did an iPad update and basically cut of support for certain iOS support so a my entire team can no longer do screenshots as our device the OS can't be upgraded.
  21. That was what I was thinking but I wasn't sure if I was remembering it correctly as I was sure Lurpak was more expensive than the butter we bought.
  22. Funny I'm not a fan of the chocolate on Celebrity - I would much rather Dairy Milk than the squares they provide. Normally I don't eat the chocolate, on MSC I did because they provided Venchi chocolate.
