  1. Stayed here for 2 cruises last year, a few minutes walk to the Coliseum. LODGING NAME MERCURE ROMA CENTRO COLOSSEO CONTACT PHONE NUMBER 39-06-770021 ADDRESS Via Labicana 144, ROMA 00184
  2. I've always done a mock booking and checked, and the prices were always consistent with mock bookings.
  3. Rum runners.....a good one! Another to add are the ones who have to go to the naughty room because they're trying to smuggle their steam iron.......
  4. My point is that there are many RCL (and other cruise line) rules that are frequently broken/ignored. To me, most aren't important and don't affect the quality of my cruise. A few are: 1. People with a 1:00pm check-in time for embarkation and show up at 10:00am. Doesn't bother me but these people are actually amusing when they huff around if told they'll have to wait (though usually nothing is said). 2. Chair Hogs: I find amusement in this one when someone comes along and moves their belongings, the chair hog arrives and the drama begins. 3. Vaping in their room: doesn't bother me at all, staff also seem to overlook it in venues if away from others. 4. Wait until your debarkation group is called before proceeding to deck XX: this can be irritating at times when so many people disregard and slow down access. There's probably dozens more: I guess everyone just needs to proritize where the vaping violations sit on the list of importance for rules frequently broken.
  5. RCL rules I think were made to be broken........here is a perfect example: "Pool deck chairs are only available on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved. We want to ensure that all guests have a great time at the pool. If a pool chair is left unattended for more than 30 minutes with no signs of any guests returning, our crew will remove any belongings and place them in the lost and found."
  6. I always book for 2 and pay in full. I then call in and add 3 and 4 and always get the3rd and 4th pasenger rate.
  7. I've been on quite a few cruises and have cruised Royal, Norwegian, Princess, Costa, Celebrity and Viking. I can honestly say I've never been on a "bad" cruise with any of the lines. Sure I've had some negative experiences, but nothing that outweighed the great time in other aspects. Too many times on CC those that post tend to dwell on the negatives rather than positives of a particular cruise or cruise line. I've made the choice to keep my focus on enjoying life and enjoying cruising. If I ever go on a cruise that I can't find positives to outweigh the negatives, I should probably stop cruising.
  8. Book air thru rcl and you’ll also get 2x for air.
  9. If you’re going to cruise on Rcl again then definitely buy. Why not?
  10. Best bet is to check with your travel advisor.
  11. Did you pay for the flights or opt to pay by final payment?
  12. Doesn't seem it warrants compensation: after leaving port alcohol will be available as well as fresh juices, coffee, mocktails etc are available all day long.
  13. Just ask your agent to provide you a Royal Caribbean invoice (not the agency invoice).
  14. The poster is just wanting to confirm that it is in fact now free, Mr Bailey also told us in 2021 that it was being dropped and it wasn't.
  15. Depends on the gift as well as when you actually cancel and/or if you're just a no show.
  16. Must have been just really bad timing.....I was on the Epic 2/27/22 out of San Juan. Check in and boarding was a breeze. Dropped off by a taxi and 20 minutes later we were sipping Mojitos. Ports all have their bad days now and then.
  17. We were on this sailing and I can't find a copy of our itinerary. Would anyone have it? I'm just wanting to record the ports and dates. Can't seem to find a good website with old itineraries.
