  1. Cruisegirl6: How many posts are you going to post about this? You already asked this on another post?
  2. Something else for which to blame medical marijuana..........
  3. That was really a very, very bad idea. Scenario: if the flight you just changed her to happens to get cancelled NCL no longer has any responsibility to get you rebooked to possibly another airline. Could cause her mucho problems. Others reading this: DO NOT TAKE HIS/HER ADVICE!!!!!!!
  4. Cruisers are not always allowed to join at the next port, at times there are Custom's issues that don't allow it.
  5. No need to cancel, and actually you shouldn't because there have been cases of approval late in the evening of embarkation day. Though it very, very rarely happens, it does happen.
  6. RCL and NCL are very similar in that aspect, time of cruise is primary factor for both.
  7. This talks about increasing "capacity" to help with increased "demand", that is a good thing......
  8. Where there is a "pending" status there is always hope......it's a glass half empty or glass half full perspective........
  9. It is definitly still alive and well. There will always be last minute cancelations.
  10. Same thing with check in, they'll easily let him check in with you based on the circumstances.
  11. Not on Celebrity, but had a client with similar experience on Royal. They received a discount on a future cruise (not FCC). This is a tough one for both the Cruiser and Celebrity! Definitly shouldn't be charged for the spa and medical service, past that is a coin toss.
  12. My wife and I don’t like the chin straps so just take our chances. Creates occasional excitement!!
  13. I agree.......the first commandement of cruise flights "Thou shall always fly in the day prior to embarkation".
  14. After you've made final payment for airfare you may need to call to ask them to go ahead and actualy "ticket" them thus allowing you to get your seats assigned with the airlines. From past experience, you may have to call more than once.
  15. You see everything from shorts to suits. Even on formal nights there are still some very, very casual.
  16. Here is the info originallty provided "In addition to discounts, guests who book through the program will also receive exclusive experiences and recognition on board, including a welcome reception and gifts such as military challenge coins and pins to designate program participation and collectible patches customized for each ship in the fleet." My first sailing under this program is in March so we'll see what they provide.
  17. Prices can't be adjusted, you have to cancel and rebook.
  18. We took a family group last summer and we'd pick up a bunch of cartons each morning at the Park Cafe to ensure the kids were supplied throughout the day.
