  1. Nice post, we cannot wait to get on her on October for a Greek Isles cruise (think it will be the 8th time on her).
  2. Makes sense in our “new World order”, I guess the point was/is, it is is out of control of CCL>
  3. Done 46+ CCL cruises and with slight variations food quality, prep and taste have never varied. I understand the op’s disappointment, that said when every single thing is terrible, it relates to the value of my take on the cruise.
  4. The Pride was supposed to go into dry dock that was postponed when cruisng resumed. Not sure of the dates.
  5. Staff shortages and supply constraints seem like pretty good reasons to me, regardless of how dearly anybody’s money is (not wven sure what the heck that means. how long have you had your doubts?
  6. On her 4 times never had a problem. In fact in cabins, the temp was the coolest I have ever had.
  7. I agree, they have not. There really is no reason to (my attempt to answer your question). They (Carnival) want to minimized the effect that covid has had the stranglehold has had on the industry. Publishing (any) data defeats the purpose, regardless on whatever the number is/was. Of they did that and published a number, I might think it to high….you might think the opposite (or vise a versa). THE CDC WAS ALL over it so there was no purpose. I have been on six cruises since restart, I concentrated on CRUISING, not how were or were not sick, plenty of others were all over that.
  8. Why would they be anything other than quiet. What possible service would it provide.
  9. It is easy, almost every thread on covid get heated and is either locked or deleted. The only point of this thread was can someone know how many cases. They used to be reported by ship and are no longer tracked or reported. The answer is simple. Some ike and some do not. The cruise ondustry and the CDC are pretty much on the same page. What we here think on the topic really does not matter. We can voted with our wallets, either sail or not sail.
  10. Apparently the CDC agrees with you, at least partially. At the end of the day, the only ones (opinions) that matter are the CDC and Carnival.
  11. There certainly is no deneying the smell associated with smoking casinos.
  12. The point is that it significantly helps with food venue balancing, especially during peak nights. I would wager therre are no plans to change the current plan.
