  1. So you think that the first place you would see short staff would be be customer facing places? How many is normal? How many behinds the scenes are normal numbers? Is it worse now than 3 months ago? I guess your pic answers all those questions.
  2. I meant in general. How does one notch below in age?
  3. Understand, I will look at it during our next couple of cruises
  4. HAL is designed for a much older clientele. Royal and CArnival have way more in common that difference, but if you are thinking you should venture out, than sounds like an. Option to consider. I cannot think of a more casual atmosphere than Carnival.
  5. Thanks for the reply, now that I think about t I do remember one side of the buffet closed, but it was during the slow down, might be personnel shortage related.
  6. I cannot remember seeing empty stations on an of my cruses since the return to the sea. But frankly was not looking.
  7. Agree about the quality of the voices making a difference
  8. Have seen 3, all whole shows. Jersey Boys was good, other two were marginal at best. .
  9. If you cruise regularly like you and a lesser extent we do, no matter what you do, you will see duplicates. The only off broadway version show I saw on a cruise ship worth of watching was Jersey Boys on NCL Bliss. Some of the others were….painful. Carnival’s show are different some better than others.
  10. Fly2fun seats typically are not assigned until close to the fly date. You can pay a deviation fee and get them assigned at time of booking (or book a higher priced flight to get the seats assigned when you book). For future reference a good TA would have been able to tell you this.
  11. Life is full of options, Carnival Corp’s intent is to give you a full breadth of them to get your cruising dollars. Carnival is their US main option for that, but it is not exclusive. Carnival sails other places and fill the ships. Princess and Carnival are two different products, like Carnival and HAL are or Royal and Celebrity
  12. Not really sure how you would determine that from a particular sailing, but that said, it has. ALWAYS been Carnival’s plan to attract new cruisers. That is why they have so many homeports.
  13. You are correct, but facts would ruin the point….I guess.
  14. Carnival beleives more in total ship entertainment than in “show” entertainment.
  15. We have had a busy summer traveling and just went to using apple tags. Does make finding it easier, but have used a piece of red duct tape as well.
  16. I know I asked about your pre cruise test experience, but have you met people who had to test in Italy pre cruise? We are flying in 3 days prior.
  17. Well that is a view, might want to view the monetary side also, but staying in business (rushing to get ships sailing). It is your vacation after all.😎
