  1. We loved Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Took a room overlooking the bay which I prefer and happened to be cheaper. Massive food court below, hop on hop off stops there, indoor bridge to mall, pool can get crowded but oh so spectacular, next to the spectacular Gardens by the Bay, and great restaurants on site. If you are in to history National Museum of Singapore is a must. I used to do a bit of business there, especially mopping up after the Barings blow up. It has been fun to go back, be a tourist, and actually enter a museum. 😃 East coast park has a dinning section with lots of outdoor restaurants, quite a scene. Singapore is a major foodie destination. I haven been there in years, perhaps someone with more recent experience can chime in.
  2. Apparantly so. I took me a bit to figure out why they were closed. 🤔
  3. I missed that article, will take a peak. It is clear from all the talking Bears that they missed the bottom there is so much cash on the sidelines. That with all the leftover Stimmie should help to fuel this rally. The pullbacks should say is a lot. Does it show that I'm still pretty bullied up?🤣 Well I wish they would slow down where I'm trying to book a trip or eat! Although my TA said she is seeing some signs of things normalizing. Whatever that is.
  4. Powell is taking lessons from Christine Lagarde. Nobody talks longer than her. Saw that 4325. Giving me some double top fears.
  5. Well that should make some people on these boards happy.😃
  6. OK kiddos, what's next? My technicals put us at 4444 short term and 4785 long term. Pullback first? Or do the bears come back and blow that up? Next week is a very big week with Fed meeting, CPI, Quadrupple witching before 3 day weekend. Fasten your seat belts.😀
  7. Crikey, do they rent wet suits? Happy Anniversary!🥳🍾🍷🍸🥂
  8. We have never had any trouble ordering bottles of Champagne to the room.
  9. On our Venture trip last August the Captian allowed the use of Lifeboats as tenders on one port in Iceland. It was less of an expedition excursion and there was a smaller dock that would accommodate the tender/lifeboat. Weather was nasty that day and guests were grateful. Looking forward to more reports. We loved Venture and glad to hear things are still quite good and that the food situation may have improved.
  10. Logging in! This seem to be a problem on so many sites. Glad you're back.
  11. Along with many other things, it was the brilliant @Port Powerthat taught many SS veterans on that voyage that you don't have to remove the top on the shampoo bottle, it flips up. And for that we will be forever grateful! 😁
  12. I left the traditional business world long ago. While we were away for six weeks there was a pending matter that had us on a several conference calls and digesting dozens of emails. Thanks goodness we have the technology we do. It keeps the process going and allows us to travel with some peace of mind. Upon return, I have an in person meeting with our attorney. IMHO, nothing beats a face to face to connect, understand, and close a deal. Have my old school ways been replaced? Side note - we had a better cell signal in the middle of the Coral Sea then we get at home. 😀
  13. Thanks for that comparison. Definitely slipped into nosebleed, do I really need that pricing.
  14. Safe travels. Thanks for taking us along!
  15. Off to a stellar start! Those menus look enticing along with the waiting BBQ.
  16. Sleeping is my superpower. But can always use a professional prescription. It's 5a.m., I'm on my second cup of coffee, unpacked, my stomach wants a cheeseburger, and I'm thinking about a nap. @TLCOhio So much to process on this trip. I'm just amazed at what a great job you do on your reports. I need lessons. And, thanks for the welcome home rally Friday. Nice little giddyup in the P&L.
  17. Inclusive Excursion = Busride (On traditional cruises)
  18. I've got a lot of catching up to do. I've been saving this thread to savor upon my return! 🤗
  19. You can also book the 'Retreat Spa' at the Blue Lagoon for the day. It is a private area with private blue lagoon and other amenities for retreat guests only. Very serene. Lots of places to recover quietly from jet lag.
