  1. We will be booking something for this area. Contacting George's taxi. 😉 Care to comment on your experience. Thanks much!
  2. Might I hijack? Terry, I believe you recommended a great driver/company for tours, airport transfers, etc. In Athens/Greece. Would you be so kind as to pass that along again? Many thanks.
  3. Well said! It begs the question: If the rules are not being followed, what can the other guests do about it, other than complain to management which does nothing?
  4. @taxatty. Thank you so very much for the report. Montgomery Reef does look impressive. I'm glad you were able to experience it. Sorry we missed the show. I wonder if SS has stopped using the Horizontal Falls guide permanently given the major accident they had last year. If so, I hope they stop advertising this excursion.
  5. Just had to share this one for all the birdlovers out there. 20230719_185013.mp4 Hummingbird party on Agave bloom. Well maybe not a party, more like a territorial dispute. 😁
  6. Inverted yield curve from investopedia, easy peasy: In finance, an inverted yield curve is a yield curve in which short-term debt instruments (typically bonds) have a greater yield than longer term bonds. An inverted yield curve is an unusual phenomenon; bonds with shorter maturities generally provide lower yields than longer term bonds.
  7. Those are not fair winds. Hope they dissipate. In the meantime grab your bathrobe and head to the Arts Cafe. 😁
  8. Have you ever thought of hosting a late night show? You are really cracking me up today.😂
  9. Where are you, and where are you headed?😃
  10. Come for the information and tips, stay for the entertainment. OR, dont come and complain at all. 😂
  11. Tough re-entry. Glad you're home safe. Love the trip report.
  12. Broome - There is always the camel rides on the beach. Not sure if this has been covered in this thread. For me it was firmly in the "who knew" camp. https://www.bbc.com/travel/article/20180410-the-strange-story-of-australias-wild-camel
  13. @calm down dear. Excellent analysis, I concur. I especially dislike the Atlantide venue due to the low ceilings, dark and cramped feel. The packed bus tours also turn me off. For traditional Ocean voyages I have found that the pricing between SS & SB is dramatically different, in some cases 30-50%. Expedition voyages are a completely different story for another time.
  14. Well kids, what next? Nice Short covering rally today into tomorrow's CPI. Set up for a blast up??
  15. There was a gentleman who had a Penguin onesie on our trip.
  16. The Azipods are crazy cool. I thought our Captian was going to try a wheelie. 😀
  17. You need to ask Seabourn. They will probably throw you on a bus and trot you around town if you're lucky. That is the least of your problems if you are arriving the day of your cruise.
  18. So sorry you will miss Scorsby. Even in August there were issues. Although our trip on Venture made it through, SS Cloud which was there right before us had to turn around.
  19. What an interesting day, thanks for sharing. I also enjoy going I to grocery stores and supermarkets. Fun to see what's available and the prices.
