We do Little French Key each time...$69 per person does not include food and drink, but is very nice secluded small little island. We love it there, going for our 3rd time in April
  2. We always put them on, always in black and white, never an issue. We had to one time have them put one on for us and they did not even care. But I am sure of they had to do that for eveyone would slow the process down.
  3. I believe it was just under $300 for 4 of us. Got the room with the bay view as well.
  4. We are staying at YVE for our one night pre cruise stay. Will update after the stay but rate was decent and liked the location. There are 8 ships in Miami our embarkation day so was actually not the easiest to find a room at a decent price

    Harvest Cay

Looks like $29 per hour according to my NCL app for our cruise in April on the Joy
  6. Agree! Can’t go wrong there! Pool is wonderful, kids stay busy on inflatable water toys, cheep jet ski rentals! Food is good and made to order, and service is also excellent. Go there every time we stop in Cozumel
  7. When it comes down to production shows NCL cut out The Jean Ann Ryan company many years ago. When I worked for NCL many years ago as a CD they switched a lot of ships from Jean Ann Ryan to NCL productions. I used to know a lot of the Guest Entertainers when onboard and some where the best I ever seen and worked with
  8. Paradise beach for adults and kids is well worth it. Believe adults are now 69, but the food is fresh and the drinks are good, plus the pool is great
  9. Paradise beach will be less of a party atmosphere good for kids or for those looking to relax, been there many Many times, going back in April
  10. I agree, if you’re in the Haven, go to the bar or order from one of the waiters walking on the pool or sundeck. If not in the Haven, dear lord go to a bar or order from bar waiter! I am really hoping that it was a joke! We stay in the Haven and would never do such a thing
  11. Funny thing is this year, we are on the Joy out of Miami for Easter week, and still has lots of cabins availalble outside the Haven. We are staying in the Haven Aft facing Penthouse. We dont mind the crowds at the pool as we enjoy the excitement but also always want to have a place where w eknow we can relax with alot fewer people if need be. Looking forward to April.
  12. Works for me! Maybe can park there for the entire cruise
  13. We are doing MSC for the first time in December. Yacht club as well. Price is thousands less then NCL Haven, we love the Haven but giving the Seascape a go. How did you get tier matched?
  14. Anyone else notice that upgrades are being issued alot further out then it used to? My last 2 bids last year i got the upgrade email about 5 days out for Haven suites. Now they are a month out almost. Wonder why
  15. We are beyond excited for the Joy for several reasons. One, we have sailed in the Haven twice on the Breakaway, once in a 2 bedroom suite and the other in the forward facing suite. this time on the Joy we are in the Aft Facing Haven Suite. My wife and I actally enjoy the walk between the cabin and the Haven Enclave so we get some steps in and work off the food and drinks lol. Bringing our 16 yeard old daughter and her 17 year old friend with us, first cruise for both of them and they are so excited they send me a countdown to the cruise every day.
  16. Thanks!!! Simply going to put a light paper type sign or something!
  17. 67 days til we are in the Aft facing Haven suite on the Joy!!!!!
  18. So We have cruised so many times, but this time we are cruising with friends who haven never cruised. They would like to put something on there cabin door and was wondering if the doors are magnetic like other ships. Now we have never done this before but would appreciate anyone that would be able to answer. Again going on the JOY.
  19. Well we will try it and I’m sure we will love it like the haven! Bad day on a cruise is better then a good day at work I say
  20. Thank the last one I went to I was 18 lol, traveling with my parents. Now at almost 44, our friend who is 41 would like to go...his first cruise told him he will meet people everythwere.
  21. Also, We are traveling with a friend who is single, do you see any Singles Mingles in the freestyle daily?
  22. Sounds like a good idea. Our next 2 cruises are out of Miami, April and December. I will say Miami embarkation can be difficult sometimes, but my last few times there was an absolute breeze
  23. On the Joy in April, Aft facing Haven Suite! looking forward to the Haven again first time on the Joy...
  24. I agree, we used new orleans because it was 5.5 hours from the house, was the only reason and we do like the Breakaway. As i said embarkation sucks there! We cruised in the Haven, but te Security line up is horrible. Half the time you have debarkation still going on and people lined up for Security check in...wraps all the way down the hall and sometimes outside. If we ever go out of New Orleans again we will wait till about 11 or 12 to arrive just to miss the lines
