    This is a fabulous thread! I leave tomorrow on the Discovery, so I'm ready for food pics! For the first time, we are doing Club Class, so I hope to avoid the problems you've had. I hope we have that same MDR menu because I love the pork tenderloin they do on Princess (all versions) and DH will be all over that seafood stew. You are everybody's favorite poster today!

    Call and ask. Look in your spam filter. It's so nice of you to want to praise a crew member. In my experience, nothing I have ever said, good or bad, has had much effect.

    They serve the same food in every dining room, so I guess the variety you are looking for is decor?

    There is no set dining time on Princess. I would expect you to know that if you and your 699 friends have already booked. I would also expect the cruise line to be working with you, suggesting dining venues and times. I find it curious you have opened a thread here on CC to ask a question you should be asking the cruise line.

    This was our experience on the Majestic, too. With the rude head waiter and all.

    Well, since they have to drop the egg from a high place, there are few other places to choose from on the ship. It's the egg DROP. 🙄

    I love the egg drop! I know some people find it silly and cheesy, but it's fun to see the inventive contraptions people put together. I especially love it when a child wins. I hope it's not another victim of covid.

    I think Pam in CA is referring to ships with the promenade on one deck. The Grand class, etc., ships have a promenade that requires going up and down stairs to circle the ship. Or I could be misreading what Pam meant.

    Same thing happened to me. I thought maybe it had to do with the extra lanyard I ordered, but who knows?

    Fabulous photos. Barcelona was on my cancelled covid cruise in 2020, but I will get there someday.

    Yes, but you did say you never tip in a pub. So does that include those "gastro pubs"? Or does it mean you never tip for a beverage? Do you adjust the amount of the tip to exclude any beverage you have at a restaurant? Curious Americans want to know.

    I tried that, but the bartender said I couldn't get the kids drunk. 🙂 One idea would be to take some instant and get hot water at the buffet.

    DH says refunds appeared on folio but not as OBC. I never paid attention. Sorry your plans have been upended.
