If the itinerary works out on HAL for my next cruise, I will try HAL again. For Celebrity the entertainment is grade C at best. The music walk is something that I just might enjoy. On Celebrity I found myself skipping most of the shows.
Lack of demand. Several of the places in Mexico are Level 4 on the State Department list. The Celebrity cruises they do have are very inexpensive. Not a money maker so they don't sail there...
The luxury lines will purchase some of the cruise lines older ships. Probably not M class as too many passengers.
They are able to make it work as they charge more for the cruise fare.
I was scheduled on a smaller Princess ship to Tahiti during the pandemic. Princess sold the ship to a lux line. The lux lines seem to be able to make it work with the older ships and the fares they charge. The mass market lines end up charging a lot less for the older ships and not making enough revenue.
The colors were a decorating fad... Not bad, but perhaps a timeless design would have been better...
I am painting over a similar design in my house ...
Royal 2.0 ...
Sunroom as a balcony on E...
My favorite class of ship is M, S is sailable, and E is just too crowded...
E class tends to have a younger crowd.
