  1. If you were given incorrect information you were duped!
  2. That's the one I did last year for 25 days. All those countries. I did the voyage of the Vikings prior to that. That went to a few more countries and that was 38 days. I tend like the longer cruises. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time !
  3. It just happened on my last cruise in 2023. Prior to that I used to bring plastic water bottles all the time.
  4. If it's the 1 to northern Europe I've already done it.... twice
  5. I had to dump my bottled water in Boston before getting on the ship. My shampoo was fine they didn't touch it.
  6. I think I'm on the same cruise. Is it for 11 days and it leaves July 1?
  7. I was looking at Cunard today transatlantic and it's the same thing. In 16-18 day cruises there are probably about 4 ports.
  8. Thank you. This about sums that up. I always book a room Because of location. I don't care about the size. Also, I need a room with a shower only. My days of climbing over a tub are over. I would be so disappointed If they change my room....
  9. I've often wondered why they don't just carry those symbols over to their website.
  10. Agreed. Also, it makes you wonder why you even bother to book a room. I spend a lot of time looking for a room. I pay extra to get the room I want. I don't know, to me just doesn't seem right. If I know upfront there's a possibility you're going to change my room then I have the opportunity to decide if I want to go forward with this booking. We are all aware when we book a cruise that we may not stop in the ports that are listed when we book the cruise. We know that. We know the cruise line can change ports at anytime ,change destinations at anytime. We know that going in. And now we know going in that we may not have the room we wanted.
  11. I agree wholeheartedly if you are warned at the time you make the booking.
  12. That's horrible. What happened to you get what you paid for? Doesn't he/she/they have a reasonable expectation to get what they paid for ? So the HAL policy is.. it is what it is, take it or leave it. I could understand if the OP was told this at the time of the booking. I'm sorry, don't jump down my throat anyone please, but this is not right.
  13. I'm a 3 star mariner and I've never heard of this? What is it ?
  14. I was just kidding. I hope so too !
  15. That happened to me once. Transfer fees were added and I never asked for them. It was quickly taken care of.
