  1. Got off MSC last week, going on Royal in October, then back to MSC in April for 14 days, and then back to Carnival in September on Jubilee.
  2. do they offer the combo package for these 2 items anymore? I don't see it listed anywhere for my upcoming cruise
  3. I like to get all the traveling done the day before so im not stressed that morning if I am coming from Orlando
  4. Last week in port canaveral just as we got up to the scanners the system went down. They just proceeded to look at your passport and then you and we were free to go. Still no holdup
  5. you don't need to carry your luggage anywhere. As posted go to the designated spot to pick up the luggage tags, put them on your luggage and leave them outside your door on the last night.
  6. don't remember what deck you get on but there a quite a few of the kiosk. Did my credit card info on the MSC website before we left so didn't need that. Your didng room and the time is on your card when you check in. Drink package starts as soon as you board. State sales tax is extra while in port. There signs at ever bar letting you know this. There are bars everywhere. Don't remember which one was closer. Deck 16 is the adults only pool. It's the Horizon pool. Somebody will come along and fill in the blanks I'm sure. ENJOY!
  7. we were there making reservations as soon as we boarded and it wasn't too bad at that time. We went on Tuesday. It was pretty good. Enjoy your cruise!!
  8. Well on most cruise lines I woudn't bat an eye. Like I said, the way they messed up our last cruise with the details. Messed up our dining, excursions etc. I'm sure it'll all work out, just with a little more angst than usual.
  9. Are you OK with having the kids (teens) on a different deck and maybe on the other end of the ship? I'm no expert on MSC but isn't Bella a guarantee stateroom where the cruise line picks your room?
  10. Lunacy is correct. A lot of their policies are lunacy but I guess that works for them outside of the U.S.
  11. You think it's fixed and hopefully it is. I found from my last MSC cruise that when they say things are fixed some how they aren't. I'll give them until my next cruise, that's fine but when I get there for my cruise I hope my cruise isn't double booked. Thanks for the suggestion.🙂
  12. Yes it is a bit much but we didnt plan, it was convenient, and we don’t live in a beach town. All in all we had a great time with my grandaughter, son, and daughter inlaw. The wife and I are going solo in October, and in April . Talked about staying on the ship. We will check out RUI.
  13. So I am just supposed to give them a pass? From my past dealings they are not very good at fixing problems. They will tell you it’s fixed only to find out it’s not and sometimes they make the problem worse. So please forgive me for not giving them a pass. BTW my cabin is still available for purchase and it’s July 5th.
  14. Just back from Nassau. Had a great day at Margaritaville. Was $110 per adult. Had swimming pool, lazy river, flow rider, and the beach. No food or drinks included but they did have some for sale.
  15. I am on this cruise. We booked it as an 11 day cruise which is now a 14 day cruise. I was on the MSC website last night and the cabin I have booked is available to book.
  16. you still seem to be in the minority on the subject.
  17. thank you. I'll remember that if we ever cruise with them again. We just got back yesterday from Meraviglia. To say I don't trust MSC to get this right is an understatement. I canceled an excursion to Disney Springs about 3 weeks before we cruised. Of course they just canceled me and when I called they said they couldn't give me a confirmation for the cancelation until the refund is processed. That had me scratching my head. Haven't gotten the refund yet and after reading here it's a roll of the dice if I ever get it. Thanks again
  18. thanks for the replies. Nver been on MSC before so didn't know. They don't operate like other cruise lines in a lot of respects so just making sure. Not sure if the cabin steward brings the bill or not.
  19. yes, when it's kids sail free it's usually when schools are in session in the U.S.
