Just wondering who the CD will be for the April 30th cruise on Celebration. I just saw a you tube video and the CD was the Flying Scotsman. Wondering if he will still be there and what people thought of him as a CD if so.

OK tyvm. I think I read they were $5.00. I'd like to look into getting one for our upcoming cruise. Wasn't sure if steerage people were allowed.

Can anybody get the electronic bracelets or is it just for yacht club people?

Unfortunately the times, they are a changing. Not many refundable refunds around on any cruise lines. On Royal you can get one but you have to pay extra for your cabin.

That sounds horrible. NIce stay on the ship day. Costa Maya was a great cruise port in the early days but it's now too commercialized and built up.

ok I found this description of the job on a story from January 2022 that announced Mike Pack was being promoted to Fleet Cruise director. Heald posted on his popular Facebook page, “So I would like to add my congratulations to Mike Pack who along with one other Cruise Director has been promoted to Fleet Cruise Director. He will be responsible for working with and assisting all the current group of wonderful Cruise Directors and will help train new CD’s. I am very proud of him.”

I just saw a youtube video that said Chris "Donkey" Salazar has been promoted to Fleet cruise director.

I search them out first. While the Celebration Havana area isn't like the Vista class ships Havana area we will be giving it a try next month.

Ive worn shorts all the time on Carnival,NCL, and Royal with no problems. I dont wear them on dress up nights though.

What? No shorts? That doesn’t bode well for our group in June.

I am on this cruise as well but received no email. I didn't think you picked your check in time until 16 days prior? I just checked the Carnival website and I can't check in until April 14th? Was the email legit?

\We just booked last night on an 11 night cruise for April 2024. While we got a very good price, we did book an inside cabin with no drink package. If we wanted an oceanview that was $340 more pp, or a balcony, that was $620 more pp. I'm good with an inside and I'll buy my drinks as I go as we don't drink more than a couple drinks per day. It was a toss up. Inside cabin or stay home. lol

I have here in the states. Quite a bit of difference just from a year ago. Last year there wasn't much difference in price for the drink package included. Maybe little over $100pp. Now it's over $200pp. I just booked the Seashore for next April and passed on the drink package. I did get it for our June cruise coming up.

That's why I love the havana area. Still have to deal with the mass of humanity at night be at least during the day you don't.

well at least it wasn't at full capacity of 3873 people. 😲
