had the 11 day booked for April 15 thinking OK we can drive to NY to cruise and save on airfare but after finding out parking was going to be close to $500 I canceled and booked an 11 day on MSC from Florida.I'll piy the $500 towards airfare. Rather sail from Florida and avoid the Atlantic ocean.

How much were the port fees for Grand Cayman? I don't think they specify that. How much were you trying to recover? Usually the majority of the port fees are from the home port and the islands charge minimal fees per person. $25 OBC seems to me to pretty much cover that.

nice I'm probably going to book the week after Easter. Probably last cabin on deck 10. It's a balcony cabin on the inside of the ship. Like being in a boardwalk balcony if you are familiar with the Oasis class ships on Royal.

I love this ship. Reminds me of Royal Caribbeans Oasis class ships. The bigger the better I say. I know not everybody likes larger ships so it won't appeal to some folks but I'm getting ready to pull the trigger and book it.

it looks like they have inside balconieson this ship like on Oasis class ships. ie: boardwalk and central park.

That's going to be my embarkation lunch when we go on the Celebration at the end of the month.

I don't know about others but once I cruised on CCL's newest ships I can't go back to the other ships.

Enjoy the rest of your cruise. I think the short 3 and 4 day cruises might be like Carnival cruises because MSC decided not to sell drink packages on those cruises. I should say they are trying to keep them from becoming like Carnival cruises.

We are booked with our extended family on MSC for June but they only had a few cabins left about 6 weeks ago. we booked a while ago but son and family just booked about a month ago. Paid considerably more than us. Had slim pickings. with MSC you can book in advance and cancel and get your deposit back up until final payment is due unless you book the Yacht Club.

followup: My pvp called me again today and said he checked around and was told no emails were sent out that anybody he talked to knew about. Anyway I just checked in for our cruise and got a 10:00am to 10:30am check in time. I could have gotten a half hour earlier but we don't get picked up from our hotel until 9:30am. I don't think that they'd be letting people check in that early if boarding didn't start until 1:00pm We will find out in 16 days.

by booking as a group are looking to get a free birth or amenities or do you just want your cabins linked together? Your TA could have put the cabins on hold til Monday I believe.

My apologies. I didn't mean it like that. While I haven't been there myself yet, (June) I have watched many youtube videos about it . Seems like most people on the their videos love it.

I thought I already replied to this but I don't see it so... Super excited. Doesn't matter how many cruises we take it's always exciting when it's cruise time. Looking forward to trying the new Big Chicken lol. As to the boarding time my PVP got back to me this afternoon and said 1pm is the normal time to board the ship. Sent me a new confirmation with the boarding time of 1pm of the start of boarding and 3pm as to the latest time you can board. So that means they expect to process the whole ship and have everybody on board in 2 hours. Guess we will find out on the 30th.
