After all the negative stuff about Chibang, especially the Mexican menu we are going to venture in there tonight. we only went to the MDR the 2 elegant nights and the service was not that good. Our waiter was killing it but seemed like he had no help and too many tables. I agree 100% about the major downgrade in the Havana area. Way too small. The last 2 days you couldn't get a lounger in the Havana area where the pool and bar is. Glad we didn’t book one on the Jubilee. We got a balcony on the hump. still loved the cruise. Nothing is perfect. Heading home in the morning. 🙁

On Celebration right now. What’s not to like. May1cruiser pretty much nailed it. Have to squeeze in Emerils for lunch today and Chibang for dinner tonight before we get off in the morning. Doesn’t seem crowded, shows are good. Well the circus one was boring. Centerstage (grand central) is a good idea but the sight lines are not good. Not many good seats unless you get there 45-60 minutes ahead of time. Lots and lots of comedy.

We used to always fly southwest but after the Airtan acquisition they have very few direct flights to fll. We cruised out of Miami last Sunday. We got lucky and found the one direct flight on southwest for $86. It was great,had 45 empty seats on the plane. unfortunately going home this Sunday we had to use American out of Fll. hopefully all goes well as i hear there is a race this Sunday.

Yes thats for 2 for drinks and wifi with 1 device. Price for easy plus drink package is $427 pp and wifi is I think around $70 something pp. so much cheaper paying $500 additional when you book compared to close to $1000 after the fact .

Oh yeah i had that too. They were just the way i like them . Breading was too soft, nor too crunchy.

Of course you are paying extra for the “free” drinks and wifi package. On some 7 day Caribbean I have been looking at the prices are about $500 more than if you booked without it. it is still cheaper than if you booked those separately.

Last night I had lobster bisque soup, caesar salad, surf and turf and apple tart for dessert. They also came out with a little hamburger slider they said was compliments of the chef which was delicious. everything was delicious and service great. NOTE: it was the smallest filet mignon I’ve ever had but I left full so no complaint there, just an observation. here is the full menu.

My TA ‘s main concern when I talk to her is always, “I hope you like it”. Thats not smart having to use phone personnel to answer phones when you can use the website. on the plus side it keeps people employed.

Tv consist of Discovery channel, HGTV, Food network, CBS news, TCM, Cartoon network, Nick, and Travel Channel. They should change the name of the Travel channel to the Paranormal channel. At least on the Celebration this week.

Hope the game is on. Think it was the bar where Pig and Anchor is on deck 17.

On Carnival you don’t get your card til you get to your cabin.

Thats pretty sad. It was so much better. We were the only ones in the elevator this week when it stopped at a floor and a gang of people squeezed in we were up against the wall.

On Celebration now and wonder why they went back to the old elevator system compared to what they used on the Horizon. Must say you make a lot of new friends in these elevators on Celebration. The elevators are small and they shoehorn people in. Still having a great time. 😊

We just kept our backpack with us when we boarded. Had ipads and such in backpack so wasnt leaving it in room because they usually leave the doors open to the rooms. Not saying I distrust the cabin steward. I just trust anyone. Call me paranoid.

Yeah Ive read them too but hasn’t stopped me. I have 3 MSC cruises booked. We are pretty easy going.
