Yeah the embarkation port has me concerned. 39 cruises and I have never sailed from there before. From reading it doesn’t seem to be the easiest port to get to.

It was small but did the job. Never more than 3-4 people in it. It was coldforthefirst few days so that kept it almost empty. on the Jubilee next year but didnt opt for the Havana area.

I can see why I didnt know there were windows in Grand Central. Every time i passed by, which was always at night except for the day we embarked. We always saw it like this.

By a long shot too. On the Celebration the last 2 days were days at sea and we couldn’t get a lounger in the Havana area where the bar is. on Horizon we never had a problem finding a lounger.

Glad you had a great time. We were also on that cruise. Only took us a couple minutes to get to guest services since we were on deck 8. only had to go once when my wife thought she lost her sail and sign card.

I was on the Celebration 2 weeks ago with the premium package. I had sppeds as high as 130 mbps and as low as 34 mbps while sitting in the main showroom.

You are cruising the same week as we are. We will be at Ocean Cay the day after you leave. We are on Meraviglia out of NY.

Their pizza was so thin but still hit the spot. At least they got the pizza spot right on Celebration compared to the Horizon. No more 45 minute waits for pizza. 👍

Deck 5 is where the majority of cabins and pools are. I believe there are some Havana cabins on deck 6 and 7.

Sit under the tiki huts with your favorite beverage and your feet in the water.

While I haven't sailed in the YC people on the MSC board rave about it.

I haven’t sailed on MSC yet.We go on our first one next month. My expectations are very low but the prices were right. A lot of negative stuff about them unless you cruise in yacht club which we aren't doing. if the one next month is not good the other 2 will probably get cancelled.

It's like a different world back there. My wife and I stayed there last year and only ventured out to get lunch and at night. Went to get a Guys burger for the wife which was right near the main pool with the big screen blaing and the DJ playing music and the sound of kids having fun. I told her grab your burger and let's get back. So quiet and peaceful. It's a great location aft deck 5 with a great view of the wake.

Being in a Havana cabin is the best. You have your own section of the ship, with pool, hot tubs, and bar. you'll love it.

One would think that a company that has been in business 50 years would be a little more efficient unless they are being like insurance companies, Deny and hope they go away.

Like there wasn't enough negative stuff about MSC. We have 3 cruises booked but if the one we are taking next month is filled with rude pax it might be one and done.

Thank you. Luckily we only ate in the MDR the 2 elegant nights. The first night the waiter was basically there by himself. He was delivering the bread, filling the water glass, delivering the food to the tables, refilling the water glasses. He was moving very fast but it was hard to keep up. Didn't have time to ask us if we wanted anything from the bar. I don't blame the waiter, I blame Carnival for being short staffed. The second night we got bread from the asst waiter but no butter. Never saw him again. Asked the waiter for butter and also told him we wanted something from the bar before he took off. Looked like they had the full compliment of dining team but the one guy looked like he was new. Hey we all have to start somewhere. At the end of the day it's all good. 😀
