    While reading another post as well as some menus, I noticed that Bar Harbor has a lot of blueberry foods and drinks. What other (non-alcoholic) items would you recommend? So far I have the following: 1. Blueberry pie 2. Blueberry soda 3. Blueberry lemonade

    It will be warmer the further south you go. We were on the sailing the week before OP, and we were using the water slides and pools.

    Why does Carnival insist on referring to the port as “Los Angeles?” Long Beach and LA are two different cities, and this only causes confusion for the passengers.

    Interesting that you tell people to get off their phones, but then encourage them to drink. Pretty hypocritical considering alcohol is worse for you and more expensive.

    Funny because I have always wondered the exact opposite. Why on earth would you pay money for something you can easily do for free? It is SO EASY taking my carryon on and off the ship, and I always have everything I need with me that first day. I honestly can’t fathom why any able-bodied person would use a porter.

    No, balconies are never a must on ANY cruise.

    I have never understood why any of the lunch venues close at 2:00. That is waaay too early, especially for those of us who are more active.

    Don’t dismiss taking a Carnival ship to Alaska. I just took one in May and it was PERFECT. Great activities, they had a naturalist onboard, covered pool deck, and wonderful entertainment. Anyone who says that Alaska is JUST about the ports is lying. You spend more time on the ship than on land, so you want a ship and a cruise line that you are going to enjoy.

    Well that sucks. They should at least put them online so we can read descriptions, compare prices, etc.

    I know our trip is next year, but I’m dying to see what excursions will be offered lol. Does anyone know when they will be added to the website?

    Thanks for the suggestion. If the snorkeling is good at Airlie, then I’d love to see Daintree at Port Douglas.
