Good morning. I've been curious about the whys and wherefores of the difference between the actual temperature and real feel, so I asked Professor Google. From what I can gather it's to do with the wind and humidity. I think🤔 Feel free to educate me😁 Anyhoo, the real feel temperature is apparently the most accurate. So after all that boring stuff I've just spouted😄........... the teperature here at the moment isn't -2c it's -7c, and it feels like it too. No prizes for guessing how bored I've been😂 Stay warm. Cold and frosty with a freezing fog, that is just begining to lift. It was -5c at 6.30 this morning, and has now reached a balmy(or barmy😉) -2c. When it's this cold, the fire is kept in on the lowest setting so it very slowly burns through and keeps the house warm all the time. Wrapping the presents today I think, ours are the only ones left that still need to be under the tree.🎄 Waiting to hear from Graham🤞 Well that's the tale of my totally interesting day😏 Hope yours is much more exciting.✨ Stay safe and keep warm😊 Avril

Hmm 🤔 I don't think that would be such a good idea. I know I wouldn't want to book a cruise for a particular itinerary knowing that they would/could change it closer to sail date. I know it is done, infact it happened to us on an Eastern Med cruise at the onset of the 'Arab Spring'. Unforseen circumstances after the cruise was booked or during, is understandable, but to book a cruise and then to end up with a mystery cruise.......I think not. Avril

Morning. By the cringe, it's a cold out there this morning🥶 I thought we'd had a fall of snow. It was -5c when I got up at 4.45 but has now managed to claw it's way up to -3c with a feel of -6c. Looks pretty though in the garden lights. Wrap up warm if you really need to go out and be extra careful, it's treacherous underfoot. Avril

I feel much the same nowadays Josy. When the children were at home and believed in Santa we would go all in with the decorations. Big tree over loaded with lights, baubles tinsel and crackers, and the downstairs ceilings full with hanging garlands, decorations and lights. It was like Santa's Grotto. Hard work and yes dusty, but they loved it, so it was worthwhile. Now we're like you, but put them up earlier and take them down 2nd January. I had an Aunt who was forever tidying, she had a serious case of OCD before anyone even knew it existed😁 You only had to stand up to take your cup into the kitchen and no sooner had your bottom left the armchair than she was in there straightening the chair and fluffing up the cushions. Needless to say, she never have many visitors😉 Avril

A bright, cold and frosty morning here, -1c at the moment, cars and shed rooves still covered in frost. Brr, I'm staying in the warm 🥶 Finally made a start on the decorations. Tree up, Christmas Village in place, wreath across the mantlepiece and one along the bannister. So far so good, still some more to do but I've made a start and....... all together now....... 🎵 It's Begining to Look a Lot LIke Christmas🎵😊 Like Josy, presents to wrap and plenty more to be done, but at least I've got myself moving (a little).
