We always book early dining and already know before we sit down what we are going to order. We hate to wait and hang out but n the dining room. We have never received our appetizers at 6, but we always order immediately.
Enjoy cruising. We are definitely not there yet, we love Royal. I guess I just don’t understand why you would follow a Royal thread if you are done with them. Why does anything that anyone says on here matter to you anymore?
B2B cruises can be totally different and sometimes the same. There isn’t a discount on booking a B2B cruise. A repositioning cruise just means that you leave from one port and arrive at another.
We have done both cruise lines, but like others have said we can’t help unless we know what ships you are comparing. I agree with @firefly333 Oasis has the best shows and Celebrity has few kids. Celebrity has a more adult quiet vibe.
You can just walk to the train which would be a lot faster than taking any sort of taxi. Disembark is a lot of walking. We have cruised 50+ times and never experienced so much walking. We only do stairs on our cruises.
We took the train to Ben Gurion airport in May. The train was really comfortable and easy to get to from the port. It is a different experience disembarking in Haifa. Lots of walking up hills with your luggage, we did it with no issues, but some folks were having problems. The train took 1-1/2 hours and it was $7.00.
We have experienced this only once when our cruise was chartered. They allowed us to move the reservation to a different ship and time with no penalties and we were given $200 to cover our flights that we had booked.
