  1. It also takes extra staff to prep and cook the additional items, clean the additional pots and pans. It takes additional staff to cook and run the room service orders that people will order and not eat. They didnt pay extra for it so who cares if we eat it or not, right? The amount of uneaten "free food" left around the ship was astounding to me on our July cruise. By adding an additional cost, it will lower the demand and lower the staff needed. Those staff can be moved to other areas. Its not rocket science.
  2. No more muster drills. You get on, go straight to your station, they show you how to put on the life vest, check off your name and you move on. Awesome change post covid
  3. I think more people are buying the wifi packages and the ships dont have the bandwidth to support it all. That causes lags and bad service
  4. Yes. And some ports wont even allow the drink package to begin until you leave.
  5. Just wanted to rave about Courtney Taylor tours. We have been to Jamaica many times and found a tour we hadn't done but it wasn't offered to cruise passengers> I called Courtney Taylor tours and they planed a private tour for us! They arranged a private driver to take us out the RastaSafari and made reservations for us to have a private ATV tour. We were served a nice Vegan meal at Rastasafari which tied us over until our driver took us to his favorite place for jerk chicken. We had an hour or so to spend at Margaritaville for a nice swim/waterslide. He dropped us off with an hour or so to shop the huts around the cruise ship terminal and we were on the ship in plenty of time to cheer on the last minute cruisers running to board the ship. I highly recommend Courtney taylor- great service and communication
  6. We had no USBs in either of our two balcony cabins. And each only had one outlet at the vanity desk. So you will definetely want a multi device plug
  7. Same thing happened to us mid cruise. We just asked the seating person for a private table. They took us back to the front desk and we were reassigned immediately
  8. We have purchased the chat for several cruises and it worked great. Just off the Glory and we had a hard time. Constantly had to log out and log in and it was still hit or miss. We ended up asking for a refund
  9. We just used it wo weeks ago. The option to load the test wasnt available until it was within our testing period. Maybe it will appear for you then?
  10. Just off the Glory and did not see any bottled or canned ice tea on display. But they had Gatorade, Coconut water, Some energy drinks and pressed juices
  11. We made a change to our internet plan and it took 24 hours to update before we could purchase the new one
  12. Agreed, We Ordered the free tests from the government and used the extras as a practice run
  13. Just off the glory and Guys burgers, the Deli and Blue Iguana were open past 2:00 with Guys open until 6:00. The Sweet spot for desserts was open after 2:00 and of course pizza. I was really worried about lines after reading so much about it here but we never had to wait long for anything if at all.
  14. We were able to order it through room service at 6:00am for a breakfast option for our teenagers. we had a 7:15 tender and continental was not going to cut it for them. There was an upcharge but worth it coming to our room hot, fresh and fast that early
  15. Same. Not an In and Out fan. But i respect the loyalty! LOL I thought the Guys burgers were better than expected based on he reviews I read before boarding the Glory last week. Fries were good and I loved the new Nacho burger which i added the fried onion ring and grilled onions to....
  16. Agreed! We had an amazing trip! I confess I was a bit worried after reading about long lines and bad service. We saw none that seemed out of the norm. 10 minute wait for Guys at 12;00 noon is expected and a 15 minute wait for pizza at night seemed on par. Would have liked to have slept in and did go back for a nap after breakfast! LOL
  17. Just got off the Glory and had a great cruise. But i did notice, couldnt miss it, how awful the kids were. Running over people every where. laving food and drinks all over the place, fighting with security. On the last night, GROWN UPS threw deck chairs overboard. None of this was Carnival's fault. Their security could easily handle one or two cases at a time, but these people were crazy. Even getting off the ship, 8 immigration officers had to break uo a fight in baggage claim area. People just dont know how to act.
  18. And when you fly internationally, they sometimes have special lanes for the verifly people which speeds things up. That's why we downloaded it in the firs place. Very convenient
  19. That may be the issue- we did enter the "third dose" which is how they listed it on verifly. Maybe you can edit it?
  20. Of course I spoke to two Carnival reps and they both said Wednesday would be my day after 7:00pm. Verifly said the same. Went to put in my negative results and now it says thursday. No real problem since we purchased the online test kits and have plenty. But some p[eople wont be as fortunate.
  21. Just called Carnival and they confirmed that three days before our cruise day, Sunday, means we are eligible to take the test Wednesday. Weird math. Verifly gives the updated date and time you are eligible to take it.
  22. Thats what I figured. Similar to precovid except now we get our boarding group number at check in- thanks!
