  1. Maybe they are people who have not pre booked and hope to still get in.
  2. Is there no large outdoor pool for families with kids?
  3. Apart from first night, only queues for fixed dining are those who turn up before they open the doors. Probably hungry as they haven't eaten since lunchtime!
  4. I am a solo traveller and the last thing I want on holiday is monitoring by crew! Maybe take a friend/carer with you to do this?
  5. As I said, suites and Caribbean and above are sat in a separate area and then boarded according to tier level and cabin grade. Depends on how early embarkation commences though. Can vary!
  6. Sorry again. It is the lunch which starts at Caribbean. No officers present though!
  7. Just commenting on my experiences on the different ships, that's all.
  8. Sorry, but think but you are incorrect there. Peninsular lunch and cocktail party starts at Caribbean level.
  9. You keep banging on about the additional cost of small ships. As I have said before, I get what I pay for and am grateful I can afford it. Each to their own.
  10. No, I meant those at the cocktail parties, I.e. Caribbean and above. They had to have 4 of them to fit everyone in! Pretty normal for Aurora though as she is a favourite with regular and long standing cruisers.
  11. Can honestly say food and service on Aurora was the best I have experienced post pandemic (and have done 12 cruises since resumption). Only ate in MDR so cannot speak for the buffet though.
  12. Although a suite passenger can be a first timer, whereas Ligurians tend to be regular cruisers. Over 1000 top tier pax on my recent cruise. No lounge any more either, just separate seating area.
  13. On Aurora it was Ligurian first, then suites/Baltic, then Caribbean. Loyalty tier and "priority boarding" is on boarding pass.
  14. Judging by the comments on here, it obviously is for some.
  15. Have a lovely cruise. Nice itinerary. I am on it too!
  16. Holiday Inn cruise package includes parking and is very good. Worth a look.
  17. No prebooking on small ships, just Arvia, Iona and Britannia. Don't worry.
  18. No pre booking on smaller ships. Just off Aurora. No queues, no problem. On Arcadia in two weeks and expect it to be the same. Only the new ships have these problems.
  19. It was advertised on social media.
  20. Had sailaway parties on Arcadia last Summer and on several cruises since, including current one on Aurora. Maybe not on the big ships though?
  21. Tromso last month. Makes up for no lights!
