  1. 4029, just left of the entrance , 4031 and 4033 directly from the elevators. Zip noise,,
  2. Please contact Viking tomorrow. Please.
  3. It is a Large hot tub. Looking at a picture, the far end of it , the side away from the steps has a metal grate approx. 4' out from the wall. The depth is approx 5'. With all jets operating you may be able to do a doggie paddle,,,, for maybe 3 '. That said, It is a great place to relax. Note: no pool onboard will allow more than 1 stroke or maybe 2. Happy sailing
  4. Last week, Vikikg Mars. 3rd in a nice list of Vikikg journeys.
  5. Just returned from the Mars when I saw the news that one passed due to an accident. For us that is tragedy too close to home. We wonder who it was, Who was it that made an impact on our journey. We had a wonderful trip, I doubt we missed meeting many. All work hard , most to support a family far away. Sigh, God bless them. God bless his family.
  6. My Opinion: for the past, what, 50 years, that country could pound sand for all I care. Soooo, if your trip was a must to go there then maybe fly to it. As for I, WOW more sea days on a Vikikg Ocean ship.We love the Vikikg sea days. Cooking classes, High Tea, reading, having a drink or three. With some of the best team we have ever been with. We've been around the world, both ways, up down left and right. Ocean days on a Vikikg Ocean ship is a high light. Sure we get off, see a souvenir shop, a this and a that. Back onboard for a smile and hello. WOW, gets no better. No? Enjoy the ride, Like I say, My opinion, That and 5 bucks gets me a coffee at the Star buck s Happy Sunday all. .
  7. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/traveladvisories/nicaragua-travel-advisory.html Maybe just maybe Vikikg is protecting us from drama? Looks like it.
  8. Just off Mars. Our cabin was across from one of those doors. Never an issue. That said, we were not near the Laundry. That may be a totally different thing. I did meet a passenger in the laundry one day. Get to talking, they specifically chose the cabin directly across the laundry. Seems they like being close. So, maybe even there is not much of an issue.
  9. Just off Mars. Greenwich to Bergen. Our issue, which will help you with a Car is as follows. Cab services may have an issue locating the closest spot to pick you up at port. It Happened to us. After this I can point out two addresses you can pass to the cab/uber/limo company. 43 King William Walk Greenwich West SE10 9hHU England, United Kingdom Or 60 Greenwich Church St London SE10 9BL What we saw when we arrived at port was interesting for sure. Most all had Viking Transfers. It makes sense given the location. It appeared to be well planned out by Viking. Those without transfers and looking for a cab seemed to be ok. FYI: Viking has a tent setup where your luggage will be. It is directly to the left as you walk off the dock. Maybe 50 yards. From there a porter could assist you to a cab. Closest is another 50 - 75 yards away. Keep all that in mind. I'm on the side of Vikikg Transfer or hire a car to get you to the airport.
  10. On Mars tonight, cabin 4029. For the last 12 night we can attest to ZIP noise. We are light sleepers. No noise at all.
  11. Back in 19 we used them, Right now we are on the Mars getting ready to do the same again. Tonight we have the labels ready and tomorrow we will place them on the luggage. The bags go outside our door, just like normal, and that's it. The next time you see them will be back home. Easy yes, Is it a bit of of cost, sure,,
  12. Looks like the sold out ones are $3,600 USD. Highly recommend it.
  13. It is a decent flight up and back. Long day.
  14. We are on 55 plan. With two additional iPads and extra Netflix.
  15. We have been blessed to do this cruise twice. Both times, while in Ushuaia, we used this company. Both times I will say were Lifetime moments. Absolutely an outstanding tour. You get on to a private island. Penguins all around you. Sort of Wild Kingdom moment. Second time we went with friends. One was not as mobile yet made the journey. If they still have the tour, I would highly recommend them. https://piratour.net We have zero interest with them. They are just off the dock, along with many others. They still have a presence so I expect they are still there. If you can, do it

  17. Thank you... Oh the phone must be unlocked? Or locked phone is OK, As in an iPhone 13 and above I am asking to.
  18. Hi, We have had our grandchildren on 8 cruises now, 1 more booked. We enjoyed our time with them. Not once did we thing OMG Bubbles needed. That all started at age 3,4. So yea, your comments back are to I not worth the change,,, Peace,, Pollute all you wish,, Have a detergent sea,,, 🙂. Always the love...
  19. People will do what they wish. Go for it. If I get one on my balcony I sure will make an issue with Hotel Management. Promise is a promise. Keep it home. Period...
  20. Seriously, That is a stupid idea. Flame me all you wish. We all want clean oceans to enjoy. Simplly leaving it as you found it is a great way to travel. No?
  21. IF Viking still docks in Old Town, The Sheraton is across the street. As in walk out the side door (Front door is on side st) and about 200' away is the ship. I think the ship is longer than the walk to. Last time we were at the Sheraton was early 19 just before C. It is also walking distance to Old Town. It is an uber convenient for location for sure. Note, then the hotel was a bit old. Clean for sure just older. Nothing to rave about. However if you want to wake up and look out your window to see your cabin almost in front of you then the Sheraton may be a great choice. The Hyatt House is a really nice new hotel . We were there a couple of months back. The RCL ship was docked over there, away from Old Town. We wanted to be closer to ship than town. Make sense?
  22. Biggest "challenge" is your luggage. What to do with it the day of your flight. My Q to you is why do you have to leave the ship the day earlier? They used to dock in town, has that changed? We loved HK, alas that was 9 years ago so my info is now out dated.
  23. We've done both. One was a Cruise ship tour, the second was private. The Grand Bazaar, Lots of memories. Think a USA shopping mall on steroids. Walk 5' and you're in the face of someone selling something from his wears. If that sounds bad, it is, and if you're aware it is one of the best times. If you can haggle with the stall vendors then you'll have a great time. For us we had to go back a second time. My partner first go round was taken back. Upon reflection she was upset at herself so that I re-booked for Istanbul. Second time was the charm. First time we prob spend 45 minutes in there. Second time a couple plus hours. If your into this then do it. As the others have stated, Hagia Sophia, The Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace all are good. They are the history of Turkey. I would personally say the Palace is first, Blue Mosque second and Hage Sophia last on that list. Or, you can cross into Asia, and back with a taxi. That was also interesting. Istanbul is a great place, the people were the attraction after all. We were apprehensive at first. We now would go back if the offer came up. Good luck,
