Price Drop/OBC,Refund,or FCC???
CulverCityCruisers replied to CulverCityCruisers's topic in Windstar Cruises
Just wanted to update:😃 Our booking price dropped by $2,000 pp. Windstar is honoring their commitment to pricing and offering us a combination of Reduction In Price, OBC and a FCC that totals $4,000 ! Before final payment they upgraded us from a Star Porthole to a full Ocean-view suite and are allowing us to keep the upgrade as well. This is our first experience with Windstar and we are very happy with their policy and we look forward to the additional sailings with have them because they stand by their word!! -
Price Drop/OBC,Refund,or FCC???
CulverCityCruisers replied to CulverCityCruisers's topic in Windstar Cruises
Also read your TA's fine print on the sailing. It might indicate NEW BOOKINGS ONLY. Only way around that is to cancel and re-book, but you would pay a 15% penalty (within the 120 days) and a $50 pp cancellation fee -
Price Drop/OBC,Refund,or FCC???
CulverCityCruisers replied to CulverCityCruisers's topic in Windstar Cruises
That then is correct. If your TA has a lower price online, then Windstar will not help you. Usually all TA will work with you, but it might be time to find a different agency!! Are you on the Breeze the end of March for the 11 day? -
Price Drop/OBC,Refund,or FCC???
CulverCityCruisers replied to CulverCityCruisers's topic in Windstar Cruises
If it is a larger travel agency, call the general number and ask to speak to the director of sales. They are feeding you a bunch of BS. Just look at the Windstar website and you can see the new "published" price. If they wont help you are gonna have to really push. Looking forward to what you find out -

Are you on the Star Breeze March 27th? That's when we are. Good luck with your TA, But if need be you may have to call Windstar and let them know your TA is not following Windstars contract. My TA is back Thursday and we will have final word on our reduction and what they will offer. Good luck and keep us posted!!! HAppy Holidays! -
Price Drop/OBC,Refund,or FCC???
CulverCityCruisers replied to CulverCityCruisers's topic in Windstar Cruises
FYI, below is from the Windstar website: Guests who purchase a cruise on Windstar will be eligible for reimbursement upon request if the fare published by Windstar for their specific departure and cabin class is reduced after they have made a booking and deposit, and if the request is received by Windstar at least 90 days prior to sailing. The reimbursement will be provided in the form of a shipboard credit, upgrade, fare reduction, or a future cruise credit. Windstar will determine the form of reimbursement, and the amount of reimbursement will be the difference between the fare actually paid by the guest and the published fare on WindstarCruises.com the day the request is received -
Price Drop/OBC,Refund,or FCC???
CulverCityCruisers replied to CulverCityCruisers's topic in Windstar Cruises
We are just before final payment, so almost 90 days before. Hope they will work with our TA and give us an option. For us it could be $4000. That would be an insane amount or on board credit!! -
Our Tahiti cruise had a massive price drop before final payment. TA has reached out to Windstar and said that they will do OBC,Refund or FCC. Waiting to hear. Anyone else ever had experience with this ?? What did Windstar offer?? Thanks!

We will be on the Star Pride and be disembarking in Boston. Having never been on such a small ship, I was wondering what the earliest flight time out of Boston Logan can be to arrive in time for airport security etc. We do have Pre-Check as we have global entry

How to Contact President Laura Bethge?
CulverCityCruisers replied to Mainecruiselover's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We had some issues that we believed she should know about as well and tried this email address and it was bounced back. It took Executive office 2 weeks to get back to us as an email was sent to them as well. Hope it works for original poster -
With the dinning room menus and food declining going to specialty restaurants is exactly what they want (IMO). Everything is now revenue driven and like NCL, if you downgrade food you then have to go to Tuscan Grill, Murano etc to have a meal of quality like they use to serve in the MDR.
