Hi - joining the Solstice in a few weeks (almost identical itinerary to you) and I have a couple of questions if you have the time? 1. Is there tonic on board for a G&T? Not sure if Fevertree has reached Celebrity yet (I can but dream 😊) but Schweppes would do! I think last year on the Connie club soda was used when a G&T was ordered. 2. What was the weather like in San Francisco and Santa Barbara? Do I need to pack a different wardrobe for these ports?? Coming from Scotland, so I have plenty of cold/wet weather clothes but not sure if I need to bring them?? 3. Is Blu busy? Are you always seated straight away or is there a wait at certain times? Notification email and credit card charge today. We had received a refund of £380 after we booked, when the price dropped, so used this amount as our bid. So for the price we initially paid for our verandah cabin we now have AQ. Compared to booking AQ initially we saved £871 so very happy 😃

Prices change if not buying in USD due to currency rate fluctuations. As has been said above, if you see something you want to book, book it. I have cancelled and rebooked when there was a subsequent “sale”.

Hi everyone and thanks for all the advice. An update - both of the trains I had booked with Amtrak have been cancelled 😠 Uber it is!! Greta Thunberg - if you’re reading this, I’m sorry, but I tried!! The upside is we will be at our hotel in San Diego a lot quicker and it will be a lot less stressful.

It should be 00:01 Vancouver time on April 21st. Check in has opened for me at 11pm and 9am on different cruises, depending on where the ship departs (I live in Scotland- 11pm for a European departure, 9am for a Pacific Coast departure).

For an older ship she was in great condition - we were very impressed. The balcony was in shade (but it was over 40C in Europe so no complaints!)

We were in 9106 last September- great location - no obstructions. Quiet. Handy for lifts and restaurants. Would choose cabins in that area again.

In September 2022, we took the Celebrity transfer to Venice airport for a 14:50 flight. We left on the coach at 07:55, and arrived at the airport at 10:25. It was only 79 miles but mainly single carriageway, hence the length of time it took. You really want to be on your way by 7am to make the 11:40 flight (I’m assuming you’re checking in luggage so will need 2 hours at the airport).
