  1. Depends on what you get allocated freedom or club 1st or 2nd sitting .If it's not suitable you may be able to change once onboard but will have to see the restaurant manager I think
  2. Well was told 4 to 5 weeks but after taking it all in,,things are moving saw consultant Wednesday just gone and said they would be discussing case would be contacted again today or Monday had call this afternoon another appointment Tuesday so should find out then when they will fit me in at castlehill Cottingham Hull .This all started 12 months ago with the colitis ,and theybpicked up rising PSA levels which have been monitored last 10 /12 months .Colitis seems to have sorted it self out but onto the next thing as we get older
  3. With having to cancel our Aurora cruise due to forth coming prostate op Anybody wants a good inside cabin see its back on sail Cruise no R314 £3078 Exactly same price as opening day so if your quick select price good large cabin easy for restaurant/ buffet and rear deck good luck but be quick
  4. Thanks everybody for replies didn't move the aurora cruise we had already moved 2 cruises to 2024 so was prepared to loose deposit this time as it was only £50 each as we had booked onboard iona in Oct 2020 so that was one advantage of booking onboard that year
  5. Well day didn't start to well diagnosed with prostate cancer stage 2 having to have it removed so had to cancel Aurora cruise in July payment due in 3 weeks so darn't risk not being fit hanging on in hope for ventura September
  6. Never used the virtual queue? Sailed twice on Iona same cruise to med October/November in 2021 and again 2022 .First time booked same time at the restaurant desk after first night 6pm and had 3 different tables and last 11 nights booked same table and waiters .2nd cruise we did use the app and booked every night for 6.00 pm and had 14 different tables and waiters every night in the mdr table for 2 .We usually book select fare and club dinning for 2 and must say after 31 cruises we must have been lucky and had a table for 2 every time
  7. Not sure what's happened but I would ring them and see what they say .It probably will be a systems error on their side .It looks like your price is wrong at £949 .I remember seeing a invoice on one of ours and didnt look fully paid although it was through a TA I use but everything was paid up .
  8. Is it anything to do with your deposit when you booked and was it direct with p and o
  9. We always go for fixed dinning table for two but if its only freedom available and you want to eat early that's why you have to be early, if you cannot use the app to pre book you had to queue to get the table for two on aurora and arcadia different on Iona and arvia as it's all freedom dinning
  10. Does Aurora use the app for freedom dinning or is it a case of queuing or using a pager if no availability at the time you want ?
  11. Have used CPS 31 times since 2001 and never had any issues . Waiting time varies but generally pretty good. Key collection quick .Last two cruise were Iona no different at collection point .Always booked select price included the parking .
  12. It was there in November bookable on the app on Iona
  13. Have booked a few times on board when I was lucky enough to be on board on release day .I can never understand how p and o always revert booking to your TA who then gives me a further discount and p and o giving me £50 pp obc as well and a low dep of £50 pp .They must pay commission to TA less profit for p and o and more discount for passenger ,Shouldn't complain of they might take if off us
  14. Deck 10 mid to aft before it turns corner on aft .These have a good balcony space Easy for mdrs
  15. I don't think so .I first used it 2 years ago on Iona and downloaded so called app onto my Samsung pad .After the cruise it remained on my pad until the following year where I was able to use the app again logging in with the last 6 digits of cruise card and there it remains till next cruise this year
  16. I guess you don't have a ipad or tablet with you which you could use to pre-book ent and restaurants.
  17. Guess you have select as offer of a wodge of extra obc is for aelect bookings and as majortom says you should have selected your cabin no
  18. Sailed both azura and Ventura don't like azura round pool area with sea screen no cover if it's bad weather ,Ventura has the sliding roof and can be opened if it's good weather suppose arvia and iona should be compared the same one opening roof one doesn't although arvia has a sea screen round pool
  19. Aurora much preferred but depends if you want a standard balcony cabin Ventura's are preferred especially C deck .We are booked July Aurora inside cabin and Ventura C deck balcony September so both ships suit our choices .I would also choose Ventura when it's not kids holidays
  20. I don't think it's a public area .Comparing it to Iona it's the same void .Looking at deck 17 cabins they look like they come to a dead end and I would guess its storage area of some kind -Just can't visualise how it is
  21. We sailed on her on 2015 and 2018 and those problems were there then . Our 2018 cruise toilet didn't work on the first flush ,engineers called out to fix
  22. I remember we were on Azura 2018 and ventured into the retreat onboarding day and asked to look round was £250 pp lady showing us round offered us a lottery ticket for a free place she said a lot of solicitors and doctors used it regularly and I said as at the time I was a refuse collector. do binmen use it she didn't reply
  23. They were very good but don't think we will ever see them again We all want the cheapest cruise price and they must cost a fair price to print and post out .
  24. They said the quantity of download wasn't good for some reason and that for security photo it would be better with the glasses on for both of us so she took it with her phone
