We were asked to join the eon test last night between 5 pm and 6pm will see what results are in 72 hours . So we sat with no lights on heating off for an hour no kettle boiled for tea till after 6pm don't think that will make any difference to the amount they want us to save .The only other thing we could do is switch tele off and that would be POINTLESS missed ,so don't think we will be bothering with future exercises when we are already trying to do our bit

No port guides on ship anymore .Dont think they will ever be reintroduced

Returned from iona 3 weeks ago did try and log in to check points and got the same and got sorry there has been a problem didn't bother till today and still is the same so don't know what's going on will have to check pc later .

Regarding noisy balcony we had balcony deck 10 portside aft on Iona last year and was very noisy at times .This year had booked cabin next door and thought we had the same problem this year but discovered if we put the handle that locks the balcony door halfway the creaking stopped very strange .It seemed that the suction on the seal was released a bit but still locked.

And deck 8 cabins also depends on offers at time of booking how much obc, do you want parking payed or bus down to Southampton

There is no club dinning as I understand it for Arvia and is the same as Iona all freedom dinning in the Mdrs

That cruise no is listed on the P and O site guide it means that the lateral flow test should be taken 2 days before boarding .

The show was entry by donating £10 for each passenger on the invitation per cabin if you wanted to enter.The money was taken direct from your card you registered and if you were lucky you won the tickets and werecplaced in your cabin a few days before the show .There were 2 shows 8 pm and 10 pm hope that helps

Is Gary Barlow performing tonight on Iona ? Guessing it's tonight with the overnight stay in Lisbon as on the last cruise it was over night in Barcelona.

No still the same on Iona last week and guess will not happen again

We were on Iona last week as well, previous year same time and the only decorations were in the shops in 2021 ,but they appeared over night in the first week of the cruise this year was nice to see them all lit up in the atrium

Sorry didn't take notice of prices of the coffee on Iona , hot chocolate was £3.00 plus 10 % when in Spanish ports ie £3.30 think coffee would be about same price can't help on mocktail prices sure someone will know

Was on the same cruise guess you must have used forward and middle lifts maybe later times when things got busy We were at the aft deck 10 and found we had no problem never saw a queue for lifts .9 times out of 10 we were on our own in lift at the aft . Never queued once for mdr 14 nights booked in at 6 pm via app table for 2 walked straight in probably at that time was early for people so was very lucky . People seem to think they get something different in each of the 4 mdrs but it is exactly the same menu . Club was well packed but only walked through.The only queue we experienced was for the theatre but went down quickly and if you waited 10 min later you could walk in using your booked app cabin no . I was told 4800 onboard at reception so fairly full. We were on the same cruise and time on Iona last year and the only difference compared to that was we didn't need masks everything else was the same .Our expectations were fine for us but everybody is different. Pleased we went again to compare to last year and we wouldn't go on her in school holidays .Only done 30 p and o which suits our needs and have seen many changes but think you get value for money when you compare 2001 costs to 2020 ie £3200 inside 2001 £2800 balcony 2022 with £660 obc .

We were priority disembarkation on iona allotted 8.45 am arrived at the venue at 8.05am allowed to get straight off left port gates at 8.30 arrived home at 12.40 240 miles so not bad going

Finally got logged into site to update what happen last cruise on Iona mdr .We booked the whole cruise 6pm table for 2 via the app first say .Never had a problem went with the flow experienced 14 different tables for 2 in the Pearl restaurant. Waiters were all fine some better then others but all was good . We had breakfast in the same restaurant turning up about 8.15 am and again 14 different tables for 2 with no waiting and used 4 times at lunch .So in all 32 different tables for 2 in the Pearl. Food was good veg a little sparse at times had to laugh on time had 1 piece of carrot half an inch long but over all was happy as we always had enough after the whole meal
