  1. Interesting collection of days - I'm sure I babble at times, hope not too frequently and really don't care celebrate it. I love a good plate 8f nachos. Probably won't count buttons - it seems we have very few things with buttons. Quote = ?? Maybe on the meal, drink and wine; never been to the port. Florence Nightingale is always worthy of recognition. 57° headed to 93° - ugh. I am looking forward to cooler temps in Europe. Rangers had a very disappointing loss last night Prayers and positive thoughts for all.
  2. When I used the code I had to buy the excursion and internet in the same transaction. If you've still got enough time before sailing to qualify for a refund, I would cancel your original excursion purchase and do a new one with the code. It will then accept the discount code. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  3. I hope you were able to get it fixed; I cannot handle another disappointment if you were not. 😪
  4. The colors are awesome! That is a gorgeous picture, but what is Craig growing out of the top of his head?
  5. Maybe a library would like them? Maybe they don't even keep physical copies anymore and all are digital. Probably correct that the maps are what hold any value.
  6. Yes, fully aware, but would be nice for each line separately to recognize its passengers.
  7. Not a fan of brandied fruit, but I'll give it its day, chefs and waiters deserve recognition. Hard pass on the meal and drink, would try the wine, not been to the port. The LA purchase was important for the US and I hope to visit the Sydney Opera House one day - it sure is recognizable. 53° headed to sunny 91° and 93° tomorrow. Of course rain is in the forecast mid week as we leave. Speaking of ports - I'm fuming!! Found out last night on my roll call (yay CC) that Olympia has been canceled for our upcoming cruise, but we've not been notified and excursions for it are still being sold in the booking. Searches only find 2 other ships in port that day and they're both small Viking ships. When we sign up for a cruise, we all know that port changes can happen, so it's not the change that ticks me off (disappointing, yes), it's the lack of communication and the disregard for passenger experience by continuing to sell excursions for a port they know will not happen. Passengers currently on board report Shore Exc confirmed the change but Guest Services was unaware. Olympia was a key port for DH; there is no way to get there with the new port, so he is really bummed. If I don't start packing (we leave in 6 days), the train transfer will be easier as we'll have no luggage to mess with. Of course, we may tire of wearing the same clothes everyday, but we can wash them Nov 3 since we'll now be at sea instead of Olympia! Prayers and positive thoughts for all.
  8. They should have sent me something - I leave next week for 11 days on HAL; coulda been Carnival. 🤔 Or the 16 day I have on HAL in Dec could have been theirs.
  9. Oh no! I have always blacked mine out and haven't had an issue. I suppose now if you move it has to be updated to match? I'm sorry.
  10. Same for AARP OBC if you have that on your current booking - just reapply for the new one.
  11. For other ports, 2 hours is not necessary, but as @CHOPPERTESTER said, you'll need that time in Vancouver. Numerous posts on here about the worse than frustrating times for Vancouver. Ugh on Vancouver but congrats on what will likely be a fabulous cruise! Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!
  12. @jules815 first Welcome to HAL and congrats on your fabulous cruise!! In addition to the Etias site @Vict0riann provided, you will want to check this one @dawnvip provided; it has more than just visa requirements. You can check every country while on the site. Give yourself plenty of time so you can take action if needed, but check again as you get closer because as others mentioned, things change quickly. Safe travels, enjoy your cruise!
  13. We are VERY partial to true aft cabins with wake views. We have had several (as in double digits) experiences of whales joining us for morning coffee or giving us a nice send off as we leave a port. In Glacier Bay, you can enjoy the glaciers without crowds. If you want a full side-to-side view, a corner Neptune Suite with wrap balcony is the way to go.
  14. HAJ has the best florists - those flowers are lovely. And thanks for including the service dogs (even though I accidentally deleted their pictures).
  15. I just returned from 2 weeks B2B, so technically 2 cruises, and I got zip.
  16. Can you at least give me the Dallas Mavericks or Dallas Stars? Lol
  17. Yes, but would just feel better if it would be the Rangers!! I think you feel blah today cuz deep down you're a Rangers fan at heart and it broke a bit when Astros won last night, 😆 Hope tomorrow is a better day. And still Go Rangers!!
  18. I understand that; I just know that my experience in Sept on Venezia did not align. Good news is if pax aren't getting them, they can ask.
