  1. We had a table for 2 same waiters, same time on Venezia in Sept '23 (13 days). We did not like the location and they moved us w/o issue. I've not been on Panorama, so can't speak to that ship, but would think they would accommodate if they're able. Wine prices are similar to HAL. As @TomCruise48 said, you can buy a bottle for 50% if you book specialty dining the first night. And you can bring on wine if you have a favorite you want to bring. We weren't charged a corkage fee, but that could have just been an oversight?🤷‍♀️ I get a Thermalpass on every cruise on HAL, but it was not available on Venezia due to the ship not having the pool. You might call CCL to inquire about Panorama. I greatly miss the HAL laundry when on Carnival - free or not, it just doesn't compare. You cruise HAL, so you know their laundry service is highly praised. There was nothing wrong w/our laundry, but the bags are paper, so you can't stuff them like on HAL, all clothes came back folded (none on hangers) and special requests weren't really accepted. There is a laundry package you can buy; I think it's 3 bags/week - definitely not unlimited. Turnaround was quick - next day for all our bags. One nice difference, is you can use your OBC ahead of time, so you're able to book specialty dining, spa, excursions before boarding w/OBC. If you cancel any of it, the refund back to OBC is immediate. That is so nice. Also, if you have leftover OBC (even non-refundable), you can buy gift cards w/it at Cherry on Top.😎 Dining tip - Teppanyaki is very very good; I highly recommend it for dinner or lunch. Lunch is the same menu w/same huge portions at a lower price and less crowded. You will need a printed paper boarding pass. And unless Panorama is different, you will not be able to drop your luggage if your cabin is not ready (unless you are priority) so you'll want to be mindful of what you carry on. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!!
  2. We did the HOHO in Athens on turnaround day.
  3. Yep - that's just like 4154. I see you also have loungers and chairs. It's a great space.
  4. We were in that cabin Dec 2022 - had 2 loungers (we asked cabin steward for them) plus 2 chairs w/footstools and 2 small tables. Did not experience noise issues, but that may depend on how careful crew is to be mindful of keeping the noise down, so could vary cruise to cruise. We loved the balcony and would not hesitate to book it again. We live on the balcony, so it's a major factor in cabin selection.
  5. Good luck 🤞 please let us know if you receive an offer. HAL seems to be really trying to fill the ships.
  6. I don't remember exactly how far out reservations opened, but I was able to book NYE (and Christmas Eve) dining for Dec '23/Jan '24 on K'dam.
  7. What?!?! This is first I'm reading of no more chocolate chip cookies from room service. One of my cabinmates ordered them every night. On a ship w/o GDC (where you can grab a few for later), the small ones from Lido just are not a good alternative. 😪
  8. Oh my gosh - how sweet. We do love our fur babies - no wonder they adore 💕 us back.
  9. Puppy tells me the across the street neighbors have broken into the fireworks. No matter how much I try to ignore her or tell her everything is ok, she is worried and on alert. She has now laid the other ear down, so I guess she's really worried. The big dog is "hiding" in the hallway. He has always been bothered by both fireworks and gun shots. Gonna be a long holiday week...
  10. Yep, that's the one. I wonder if it's still on bar menus and hoping someone currently on a ship can let us know.
  11. That is great news! Prayers 🙏 for continued good health. Thanks for sharing such good news! Prayers 🙏 for a smooth recovery.
  12. Usually there are signs posted at the bars that purchasers only pay the overage +18% as well as a "blurb" on bar menus. Perhaps someone currently on a ship can let us know if they see those of if they've been removed.
  13. That is sure an adorable looking grand!! We saw ours Sun - deciding between colors and Sprite is serious work. She had to have her toenails painted before we could leave for the restaurant, then insisted on putting shoes on; pretty sure they stuck to her toes, lol.
  14. I received a similar offer a few years ago on not on HAL, but on Princess. Talking to other pax, some were aware as they'd also rec'd the offer and others had not, so I do think they're limited in who gets offered. Maybe CCL tested it w/Princess and is now rolling it out to other brands.
  15. Glad you got it mostly resolved, although fully resolved would, obviously, been better and w/o a battle ideal. FWIW, most financial issues do require contacting someone else (even a drink overcharge requires an email to F&B) and "larger" issues that's Seattle - Guest Services has little ability to make adjustments themselves. That we cannot see OBC online is beyond frustrating, for sure.
  16. Same. I called last week to have several payments processed and had to do the same today.
  17. Screenshot from the Navigator App will work just fine - be sure they have the barcodes, though. Safe travels- enjoy your cruise and RVing.
  18. Bon Voyage @luvteaching ⛴️🥂 Here's hoping you and your friend have a fabulous time & she falls in love with Alaska!
  19. Sorry to hear. Prayers 🙏 for her, her care team and the entire family.
  20. @bennybear Happy Birthday to your mom 🍰🥳
  21. Apologies - I mis-read your post. My AARP membership has not come up for renew since the program was rolled out and I think we'rejust about at the 1-year mark since we first used SheerID to verify membership, so I have not encountered that issue.
  22. Rabbit 🐇 Rabbit 🐇 White Rabbit 🐇 Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦 to those who celebrate it. 🥳🥂 Prayers 🙏 @marshhawk all goes well with DH appointment today. Prayers 🙏 and positive thoughts for all.
